Mathematics 31 - MAT3211
Course Description: Mathematics 31 Mathematics 31 consists of pre-calculus and calculus. Mathematics 31 is designed for students with interest and aptitude in mathematics and/or intending university or college programs with intensive mathematics. Some topics are pre-calculus, limits, the derivatives, trigonometry, curve sketching, applications of the derivatives, and the integral, exponential, and logarithmic functions. There is a final exam. Five credits Print includes eight instructional Modules and eight Assignment Booklets. Module 8 is an optional unit. Online includes instruction, quizzes, and assignments delivered through ADLCs secure website This course is available for French Immersion students.

Course Description: Biology 20 Biology 20 studies energy and matter exchange in the biosphere, ecosystems and population change, photosynthesis and cellular respiration, and the human systems. There is a final exam. Five credits. Print materials include eight Assignment Booklets, and one Tutorial Booklet. There are five tests, and two supervised exams that are sent to your supervisor. Online course includes instructions, tutorials, assignments, tests and final exam delivered electronically on ADLCs secure website and e-mail. This course is available for French Immersion students.
