AGGRAVATED ASSAULT 11-26859

Sheriffs deputies are investigating a shooting which occurred during the late evening hours of 6/10/2011. Deputies were called to the Emergency Room at St. Joseph Hospital for a subject who suffered a gunshot wound at a residence in Ypsilanti Twp, and was later transported to the hospital by an acquaintance. Detectives are in the process of determining the circumstances of the incident. The victim is listed in stable condition. Detectives have developed possible suspect information. There were no further details available at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation.

BURGLARY

11-26932

On 6/11/2011 deputies assigned to the Dexter Patrol Area were dispatched to the 6900 block of Westbourne Dr, Dexter Twp, for the complaint a burglary. Deputies were informed by the victim that someone broke into their garage and stole two gas cans. The victim did not know when the theft occurred. No suspect information was available. The incident remains under investigation.

HOME INVASION

11-27023

On 6/11/2011 deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Twp were dispatched to the 2000 block of Lakeview Dr for the complaint of a residential burglary. The victim told deputies that they were away from the home during the afternoon of 6/11/2011. When they returned home, they discovered multiple items missing from inside of their house. Deputies determined the suspect entered the home through a ground floor window. No suspect information was available at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation. MDOP (VANDALISM)

11-27084

Deputies patrolling Ypsilanti Twp responded to the complaint of vandalism 6/12/2011, in the 2300 block of Grove Rd. The victim told deputies he observed an unknown male slash the tires on his parked vehicle. The owner was a considerable distance from his vehicle when the incident occurred. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation.

HOME INVASION

11-27166

On 6/12/2011 Superior Twp deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of Berry Rd for a residential burglary which occurred sometime over the weekend. The victim contacted police on 6/12/2011 and informed them someone broke into their home while they were away. Deputies determined the home was entered through a pedestrian door. Multiple jewelry items were reported as stolen. No suspect information was available. The case remains under investigation.

Deputies were conducting proactive patrol when the subject was identified, arrested, and transported to the county jail without incident. 11-27062 On 6/12/2011, at approximately 1:30AM, deputies patrolling Superior Twp arrested a wanted subject while conducting traffic enforcement. The deputies stopped a motor vehicle in the area of Leforge Rd and Clark Rd. The occupants of the vehicle were identified and arrest warrants were confirmed. The subject was taken into custody without incident.
