State the method to control the manipulated variable 1. The circuit is set up as shown in the diagram with the 20 cm of constantan wire s.w.g 20 across the point X and Y. State the method to measure the responding variable 2. The switch is on, and the rheostat is adjusted until the ammeter shows a reading of 0.1 A ( or something given ) 3. The resistance of the constantan wire is calculated using a formula R= V/I Repeat the experiment at least 4 times with the values 4. Procedure 2 and Procedure 3 are repeated using a constantan wire

State the workable arrangement of the apparatus

State the method of controlling the manipulated variable 1. The apparatus is set up as shown in figure. 2. Arrange a ripple tank, and placed a piece of perspex with h = 1.0 cm placed in the centre of the tank. State the method of measuring the responding variable The waves are freeze by a mechanical stroboscope and the wave length is measured by using metre rule and recorded. Repeat the experiment at least 2 times The experiment is repeated with h = 2.0 cm, 3.0 cm, 4.0 cm, 5.0 cm Tabulating of data Depth The wave length
