For downloading the admit card kindly click here. As stated in the Information Brochure and Examination Application Form of CPT June 2011 and announcement no. BOS/Announcement/227/10 dated 29/9/2010; the following are the eligibility criteria for admitting a candidate for CPT June, 2011 (as per Regulation 25D of the C.A. Regulations, 1988): 1. The candidate has either passed or appeared in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto (Please refer to Appendix C of the Information Brochure for June, 2011 CPT). AND 2. Registered for CPT course with the Board of Studies (BOS) of ICAI on or before 5th April, 2011 AND 3. Revalidated registration in accordance with the announcement Bos/Ancment/Revalidation/227/2008 dated 4th June, 2008, which is hosted on the institute's website under the link http://www.icai.org/new_post.html?post_id=666&c_id=121 (if applicable). In a nutshell, 1. Those who have not registered for CPT with BOS of the ICAI on or before 5th April, 2011 are not eligible to appear in CPT June, 2011, 2. Those who have registered for CPT on or before 5th April, 2011 but not appeared/passed Senior Secondary examination (10+2 examination) or any other examinations treated as equivalent to Senior Secondary Examination as given at APPENDIX C of the Information Brochure of CPT June, 2011 on or before 31st May, 2011, or passed any other diploma/degree courses without an appearance in 10+2 pattern of examination as stated at point 1 above, are not eligible to appear in CPT June 2011. 3. Those, whose registration has lapsed in terms of the announcement Bos/Ancment/Revalidation/227/2008 dated 4th June, 2008 and have not revalidated their registration on or before 25th April, 2011, are not eligible for CPT June, 2011. During scanning of your examination application form, it is found that you have not filled in

correctly/completely/left blank relevant columns in OMR form relating to your CPT Registration Number/CPT Registration Date/12th class examination pass or appearance details as the case may be, which information is required to determine your eligibility to appear in the said Test. Therefore, you have prima facie not complied with the requirements of admission to the said Test as envisaged in Regulation 25 D of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. However, in order to avoid any anxiety to you and not to divert your attention from preparation to the said examination, the Examination Committee has decided that you be admitted to the said examination on PROVISIONAL basis and the process of declaration of your result will be taken up only if you fulfill the eligibility requirements, failing which your appearance in the said examination will not be taken cognizance of and result will be treated as cancelled. You are therefore requested to send the following documents/details immediately to Examination Department so as to reach latest by 30th June, 2011. 1. Send us a photocopy of your CPT registration letter as issued by the Board of Studies of the Institute indicating therein your Registration Number and date of registration to the said course attested by a Member of the Institute/Head of Educational Institution/Gazetted Officer. 2. Send us a photocopy of 12th class mark sheet/pass certificate or copy of Hall Ticket/Admit Card in proof of having appeared in 12th class examination (or any other relevant documents as applicable) on or before 30th June, 2011 attested by a Member of the Institute/Head of Educational Institution/Gazetted Officer. 3. Send us a photocopy of letter of revalidation issued by BOS of ICAI and details pertaining to previous appearances in CPT including Roll No., Month & Year of Examinations, etc attested by a Member of the Institute/Head of Educational Institution/Gazetted Officer. You are required to send us the documentary evidence to prove your eligibility as stated above. In case you do not fulfill the above stated eligibility requirements, you are requested not to appear in the said examination and even if you appear in the said Test, no cognizance will be taken thereof and the result will not be processed/published.
