Our company name is Good Goats Enterprise. This company is a partnership company that consists of 8 members.

NATURE OF BUSINESS
Our company supply product for a unit and some parts of goat. Some of our products are mutton as fresh and frozen meat, fur and thorn as handicraft, intestines as thread for surgery and feaces as organic fertiliser. Those products are supply to any individual buyers and private industries. However our main products are frozen meat since high demand of customer for examples at hypermarket such as Giant, Tesco,Carefour and others. Therefore, high profit we can get for this business.

INDUSTRY PROFILE
Goat livestock industry in Malaysia still not popular although there are high demands for goat. Currently, our country import goats from other country such as Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and South Africa. Therefore, we think it was a good chance for us to be involved in goat breading business because we can supply our product for own country and export it to other countries. There are several factors why we choose to develop this business. Firstly is goat breading does not need very wide area to manage. For example, 80 to 100 acre of land can be done with intensive s breading . Intensive s breading means the usage of grass with combination of pounded paddy husks and other molasses materials. Second factors areshort time usage. It means time to manage the goats. Time to manage goats are 30% from time to manage cows. Therefore, goat breading are more practical than other breading. Mostly time to manage goats focus on grass harvesting and corral cleaning only.

Third factors are its birth rate. Goats have high birth rate which its ration is 1.5 per year compared to cows birth rate. Therefore, goat breading give more profit to us. As a conclusion, we can say that this business can give us a lot of profit based on those factors which less usage of workers and low cost for their food.

LOCATION
Our farm is located at lot 4, lot 3, lot2 and lot1, KampungTeroi Bukit, Yan, Kedah DarulAman. The total area used for the farm is 4 acre. The reasons why we select the location is becausethe place is easily for management because it is near the road. Based on the weather condition, the location are also suitable for livestock because weather at the place is good and can prevent from float. Furthermore, the aeration system is well and can prevent the high pressure wind because located nearly at hill. It also can refuge from change weather season like hot, cold and others. Based on type of soil, the type of soil at the place is lowlands. Lowlands is the soil are easy to growth many types of grass. Furthermore, the place are also are originally full with growth grass which is suitable for goats livestock which can reduce the cost for growth grass. The grasses is used for necessary foods of goats and also good for goats feed on growing grass. Based on place space and equipment, this place is easy to get water from hill and the drainage system is good and systematic and large area that easy to manage it.
