Prayer & Praise

Pray that the Lord would heal Jim Baker of all his cancer and other illnesses, and restore the strength of his youth. Please pray for James McGowan. He has had a lump on his neck removed, and now needs to recover from surgery. Pastor Greg Laurie will be preaching two different messages on the two nights of the harvest. Please pray for wisdom, anointing, and protection as he prepares and delivers them. Praise God for 19 people who were baptized in the village of Douna (Burkina Faso) last month. Pray for their ongoing spiritual growth in Christ. Please pray that we will receive the feedback we need from the community regarding our proposed childcare.

The Preschool ministry begins at the start of the service in the Creche, and 5-13 year olds are dismissed part way through the service for Sunday School. Service Opportunity
The weekly newsletter is a ministry to keep our church family informed with whats going on at WHAC, while also helping newcomers to settle into the life of our church. Between producing the newsletter, posting it on the web, and preparing it for Sunday morning, it can take up to 60 minutes each week. If anybody would like to continue this ministry, please see Pastor Matt.

Ministries for Children at WHAC

Ages 0 - 1 If you need to take your infant out of the service, a play area has been set up in the foyer for your convenience. Ages 2 - 4 The Preschool ministry begins at the start of the service, and is located diagonally to the left as you exit the sanctuary. Ages 5 - 13 Kids club takes place in the hall during the sermon. A notice will appear on the screen when it is time to dismiss your children.

Harvest Crusade Opportunities

There is ample parking around the Vector arena, (the closest car park being around 400 metres away), however, if youd prefer to take the train in from Henderson, Britomart is approximately a 700 meter walk from Vector. Also, we need to have one or two people to represent our church on the evening of the outreaches to perform some clerical duties. If youre interested, please see Pastor Matt today!
