HE CELEBRATION OF CORPUS CHRISTI at OLV

THE SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST HOLY TRINITY In todays second reading St. Pauls appeal is a call for unity. God created that unity. Good stewards who share Christs life in the Eucharist belong to each other, just as God in the three persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit enjoy unity. We are an intimate part of Gods divine bond, Gods family. St. Paul maintains that we ought to act that way. In the Church there is a bond of family, yet plenty room for variety. Christian stewards use their uniquely varied gifts to live a Trinitarian faith, in unity, promoting Christs peace and justice. How do we promote unity in our parish?

YWCA FAMILY DINNER: OLV will be serving dinner at

the YWCA Family Center on Wednesday, June 29. Signup sheets for serving and baking are in the Church vestibule. For more information, you can reach Beth Anderson at bander3@columbus.rr.com.

MOST HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY

e are a group of people bound by our belief in Jesus Christ. Through our baptism, we are called to share in His work. Therefore we pledge ourselves through the ideal of shared ministry to build a community where all are welcomed, loved, needed, and appreciated; to celebrate the gift of life together in word and sacrament; and to promote justice, peace and equality for all people. - Our Lady of Victory Mission Statement In mid July Our Lady of Victory will be making the annual trip to Montana de Luz in Honduras. We have many needs, some of which we are asking for help for our parishioners to donate so that our travelers can take with them to the mission. We will be putting containers marked Montana de Luz to collect any donations offered in the Church Vestibule & Church Side Entrance; We will collect these items through July 10th. We truly appreciate your help with this marvelous mission. If you have any questions, please call Heather Campbell at 614-3613774.

SUMMER MOVIE SERIES FOR THE "SAINTLY" HEARTED

Come watch two exciting movies this summer about a few of our spiritual heroes. Save the dates: Thursday, June 30 at 7:00pm and Thursday July 21 at 7:00pm in the Parish Life Center

On June 30 there will be a showing of the provocative movie: The 13th Day Based on the memoirs of Sister Maria Lucia de Jesus dos Santos, and thousands of independent eyewitness accounts, The 13th Day is a dramatic retelling of the experiences of three shepherd children at Fatima between May and October 1917. On July 21 we will show: God's Doorkeeper - the movie looks at the heart and legacy of Brother Andr - as a man of prayer, of hospitality, and of compassion; a man who draws people in to experience a God who is love. On October 17, 2010, Brother Andr became the first male Canadian-born saint. He is living proof that "it is with the smallest brushes that the divine artist paints the most beautiful pictures." Mark your calendars now for these two movies that will surely stir your soul! Questions? Contact Mrs. Schechter, DRE at olvreligiouseducation@yahoo.com
