CISCO UNIFIED CALL MANAGER

REGISTERING IP PHONES TO CALL MANAGER


Pluck the ip phone on the network it will take a while and it will register automatically After that to change the extension range Login to your unified callmanager Click on devices on the menu tab as shown the fig below

Click on phone

In the find tab select ti to directory number and give the extension what you have on the phone and click on find

And click on devices name it will give the details of the phone what we have registered

Here click on line one to modify the extension details after clicking the full details of the phone

In the directory number give the extension (DID) number inside our range what we got from ISP Routing partition should be internal and in description, alertingname and ASCII alert give the extension name that you wish to give

For verifying it will the show the MAC address of the phone what we registered . the sample of that directory number information is given above After that we need to the directory number settings As follows with the sample

In the voice mail profile if we want to set a voice mail select the voicemail template or select no voice mail here we have created a standard voice mail profile for this organization In the calling search space which gives access to calls like (ie 0 ,00) here we have set that four calling search space and it will be common in all Cisco devices Calling search spaces CCS_INTERNATIONAL CCS_MOBILE CCS_NATIONAL CCS_INTERNAL CCS_FAC PASSWORD CODE INTERNATION CALL ACESS MOBILE ACESS AND SINGLE 0 ACESS ONLY FOR LOCAL CALLS INTERCALLS ONLY IT ALLOWS THE USERS TO CALL WITH A

Call forwarding and call pickup

There selection and all will auotmaticaly If you want to forward the calls to another extension or external mobile no we can do it form call manager or form the user phone press CFWDALL button and enter the number where we want to forwarded Call pickup group Select the call pickup group that who can pick the incoming call from their phones (Ie: here in IT call pickup group we have 4 user so all the for off them will be able to pick the phone ) Giving display name and ringing style the sample fig as follows

Configuring Speed Dial In Callmanager


From the call manager click on call routing tab and click on translation pattern

We will be getting find and list the translation patter window

Click on add we will be getting the following window Here we need to give the translation pattern number 001 or 201 Partition should be on INTERNAL Description name the name or number what we are going to add The sample fig us follows

The calling search space depends on what number we are going to save We have to select that according to that

Under the tab called party transformation Enter the phone number with the line selection code in called party transform mask Then click on save on top the window
