Soul Capture
Soul Capture brings together award-winning Chinese composer Hu Xiao-ou and Singapores premiere classical quartet. Hus muse for this creation are the exquisite art treasures discovered at the Jinsha Ruins and Sanxingdui of what was once the ancient Shu state of China. The Tang Quartet transports you on a musical journey to this ancient place against a backdrop of some of the worlds most beautiful and perplexing art. Art that is, in turn, ancient and futuristic. Soul Capture will challenge your perceptions of life, worship and art with a contemporary classical soundscape that delves into the connections between ancient cultures and the future.
Singapore
Examine contemporary Singapore with The Necessary Stage as the company revisits historical characters, merges fact and fiction, and have them interact in real and imagined events. Looking at the themes of migration, harmony and identity, SINGAPORE probes deeply into a countrys past and the psyche of the people. Featuring a politically correct multi-racial cast, the play is seriously funny and deceitfully truthful
Wright Brothers
Achieving flight is too hard for one man. But were not one man. Were brothers. The inspiring story of two brothers who taught the world to fly. Imagine life without planes, phones or television. From 1899, Wilbur and Orville Wright strived to achieve the first powered flight, through tireless study, experimentation and perseverance. Four years later, on a deserted American beach, they changed our world forever. This intimate but epic adventure takes us on the Wrights pioneering journey, turning the dreams of two small-town bicycle repairmen into a brilliant reality. The brothers relationship, ambitious spirit and commitment to learning are at the heart of this powerful and moving story. The Wright Brothers is brought to the stage by the team behind the hugely popular One Small Step, which has entertained audiences in 19 countries around the world, including Singapore.
