With the ever developing communication technology today, it has become a passion for most of the folks of every religion to go to religious chat forums / rooms and speak-out their minds. I have noticed many of the people, sometimes even Muslims do visit these chat rooms and say whatever they wish, and some of them even out of emotional outbursts start to abuse the non-Muslims and vice-versa. It never serves any meaningful purpose to abuse, insult or hate the other chatters even if they are abusing hating or causing you trouble or inflicting personal allegation or abuses. What Allah s.w.t tells us is to invite them with wisdom and in the best way possible; if one is not able to do this with patience then I see no reasons for Muslim folks to join these chat forums and start abusing the other abusive folks in these chat rooms. Some of the Pauline missionaries train people to incite hatred amongst the believers and some are even paid-up to do these activities. When an unaware Muslim visits these chat rooms he / she gets annoyed with the abusive language these trained missionaries use in these chat rooms, thereby they start to abuse back at them. But truly speaking the missionaries win in their goal when we Muslims start abusing them. Only a patient Muslim who knows what these people are into, and who knows well their motivations can really see why these non-Muslims [Christians, atheists and others] come to these chat portals. However, there are some of the folks who are non participants, and these are the real seekers of truth. I have noticed in my several chat instances, that truth and honestly while chatting pays off, I won few reverts from these chat portals Alhamdulillah. Following the way of Quran in the chat forums helps a lot and helps in the real sense. Al Quran Surah 16. An-Nahl 125. Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islm) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'n) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. Al furqan 25: 52. So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them (by preaching) with the utmost endeavour, with it (the Qur'n). Al Quran Surah 29. Al-'Ankabt verse 46. And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islmic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong, and say (to them): "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilh (God) and your Ilh (God) is One (i.e. Allh), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims)." We actually see that by abusing-back at abusers of Islam, in chat forums, is actually obeying him. We can endeavour to be honest and steadfast and Invite them with fair preaching. If the abuser does not listen to us it only means that he is heading towards the fire, why abuse one who has already abused his hereafter and is the owner of the fire? I see no reasons to abuse the disbelievers on the net chat forums. One thing is definitive that we cannot get hold of these licentious folks in practice; internet gives them the liberty to be anonymous and discreetly mangle with the other people and do what they want to.

Other type of attackers of Islam is very serious, some of them are trained [as I noticed] that these types of attackers tend to prey on the Muslim who is unaware or has partial knowledge of Quran and hadiths. The most effective of their weapons is to say Contradictions in Quran. These serious attackers can really inflict damage on the believers hearts and minds. I do not want to scare people from surfing the net chat forums, but instead, I want them to be aware of this media dialects their modus operandi. Most of these attackers have their home works done and supplied to them in ready made formats. For example, one of the well trained chat forum attacker asked a question to a Muslims Can angels disobey Allah? my Muslim chatter said No then the attacker asked another question to our unaware Muslim "And behold, we said to the ANGELS: 'Bow down to Adam'. And THEY bowed down, EXCEPT Iblis. He refused and was haughty." [2:34]. Our Muslim chatter was dumb-founded and was actually trying to find words to combat that attacker. I had to intervene that Iblis was not an angel but a Jinn as confirmed in Al-Kahf (18):50, the dialogue ceased on the quotation of Al-Kahf (18):50. So, such attackers are really serious and they mean business. I therefore recommend our Muslim folks who frequent the net chat forums to do some homework to combat such serious attackers in a way that is better and fair preaching. Now this attacker was really trying to pave a way to say Contradiction in Quran my Muslim chatters there were watching the fun I had with that serious attacker that day, simply because I have done my homework well and was prepared to meet such people. It is expedient for you to be prepared for such attacks when frequenting the chat forums; else they can easily misguide you and hurt your belief. The modus operandi of these serious attackers is to distort and twist the meaning of the Quran verses and give their own translation of the Quran. There are so many easily available accessible anti-Muslim web sites on the world wide web www that any intended attacker can easily get training to attack the Muslim faith and even sometimes get paid for that activity. I have visited most of these sites and answered most of the questions. Their tactics is also to compare apples-to-bananas, twist the verse meanings relatively, base some of their own notions of the words of Quran, ultimately make it look like they have found or proved a contradiction. When you open the Quran yourself it would outrage you after seeing the exact opposite of what these anti-Muslim web sites had projected, or what your missionary attacker had meant to you. The set format to attack Islam and Muslims in chat forums is apparent from the anti-Muslim web sites and the questions these attackers pose in the chat forums. Firstly, theyd post some verses out of context to mean one idea then hide some point to prove their stance later to you. Never, would he / she give you the full verse or the context, because they cannot and will not. Secondly theyd quote from false hadiths they invent themselves, in most of the cases they refer to Sahih Bukhari with some verse number but when you see it with your own eyes you will never find it. I challenged one of such attackers, he happens to give me the web addresses of the Hadiths, and it happens to be an Anti-Muslim web site again. But the book of Bukhari in our hands never ever said anything that my attacker was referring to. So they also take the support of lies, they have no knowledge of whatever they are saying or copy

pasting in the chat forums. All they did was, they banged their heads against a wall [AntiMuslim web sites] and thought that they are wise and learned ones of-the-Lord. I plan to dedicate whole chapter to combat these Anti-Muslim web sites trained attackers in chat room forums, in my web site www.fareedsiddique.com Inshallah coming up very soon. I shall reveal the secrets of these attackers Inshallah very soon. There has to be a beginning to every thing, now that my site is on air, I shall strive to develop it into a massive campaign Inshallah to combat this web chat forum nuisance. So, I grossly categorise these web chat room forums participants in the following categories: Type 1, Abusers: These are the abusive folks; they are just harmless and insignificant beings. We do not need to combat them; we just need to ignore them, refuse to abuse-back at them, and refrain from having any dialogue with them [They will mostly, not have anything other than abusive language and their abusive-culture to deal with.]. Type 2, Jesters: These are the folks who are in the chat forums to make fun of you and your religions by Misquoting Quran or Hadiths; they are less serious but are still worth the notice. Most of them are very talkative, will cease their dialogues and leave the chat forums once they had laughed-off their lies. Type 3, Attackers: These are the real trained ones. They do not type too much; they wait for a less informed Muslim and tend to invite to private chat rooms to hide-and-seek with you. These are real serious ones and they mean business. One shall not get with them in private chats, they shall be dealt with openly in the main chat rooms, and so others can see and help if they need be. Type 4, Techies: These are the technical experts and hackers on chat forums; they can eject you out of the chat room forums, boot you as in Yahoo or MSN chat rooms, or bounce you as in Paltalk forums, or they can even hurt your computer hardware by hacking it. These are the backup of the type-3 attackers; they are paid-up technical staff of the evil. They come into actions once you out-wit or defeat your attackers in the chat forums, or when they sense danger with your presence in the chat rooms. Nothing much can be done or recommended against them, unless you are an expert yourself and know how to defend yourself technically. Type 5, Curious: These are the people who frequent the chat room forums in search of the truth. Some are really honest in their approach and are worth the time and efforts of a dialogue and they insist to have email ID once the dialogue is over. They do ask questions that are worth the answers and time. A Muslim shall endeavour to answer them it the best way and with wisdom. You can even argue with them in fair way. Type 6, Net-preachers: These are the clergymen, priests and pastors. They are just doing their religious duty, most will refrain from any dialogue, arguments or debate on whatever he / she posts in the chat room forums. They are like anchors of a TV program, seldom do they enter into a dialogue, though I incited a few of them into a fruitful dialogue and email correspondences. Since most of the chat room forums have moderators / regulators [referee], they have set rules and regulations of the chat, some of them cannot take a Muslim refuting the Biblical

hypotheses. But most of the Yahoo chat forums are not regulated; these are the rooms that tend to have most people of diverse belief system, including Atheists. A Muslim in any chat forum shall stand out to the norms of humanity and modesty. A Muslim shall show his culture and patience in these chat room forums. Never shall a Muslim use any bad word, or never involve in sexually oriented profane dialogues with a anyone. A Muslim before entering a religious chat room shall read and implement one particular verse from Quran: Al Quran Surah 16. An-Nahl 125. Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islm) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'n) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. The code of conduct of a Muslim chatter in the chat forums shall reflect the above verse, else the significance of your being a Muslim ceases! Beware the Lord is watching you and knows your intentions well. People in the present world tend to equate you with your religion, even if you do not intend to do so. If a Muslim commits a crime, Islam is taken to the court, but that does not happens if a Christian or a Jew commits a crime. Thereby, we need to implement the above verse more strictly and stick to Quran and hadiths more reverently. Al Quran 41. Fussilat Verse 33. And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allh (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allh's (Islmic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims." I sincerely hope that this paper shall sets standard for a Muslim / Muslima for an internet discussion / dialogue or even argument. On the net, it cannot be called a debate, because the essence of debate is the physical presence and there cannot be anonymity in a debate, it has to be person-to-person with regulated audience and a jury.
