Dear Colleagues. Herewith I would like to give you an update about several Conference topics. CCS 900 Ultro local introductions well under way Last month the new CCS 900 Ultro is successfully introduced at the Customer Day and ISE Exhibition in Amsterdam. In general the feedback we got about the new system was very positive. The new design and the new possible-tospeak indicator are very well appreciated. Together with the already existing strong USPs like the built in MP3 recorder and Digital Acoustic Feedback Suppressor, the CCS 900 Ultro will help us increasing our sales in the small to medium sized applications. The current status with the CCS 900 Ultro is as follows: - Local Introductions are in progress and first real (non demo) orders for CCS 900 Ultro are already coming in. - From the introduction till now many NSOs and dealers ordered (and still ordering) demo sets to be able to demonstrate CCS 900 Ultro to their customers. Please make sure you make use of this opportunity and benefit from the very attractive demo discount of the demo set. Note: The demo sets can be ordered till 1st of July 2010.

As you will remember the CCS 900 suitcases where not released yet and the expectation was that they would be released beginning of March 2010. Herewith I would like to inform you that the suitcases are released now and can be delivered.

Last two weeks of the Trade In Action All good things have an end they say. After some successful months the trade in action will stop end of this month. Please use this deadline to remind your customers for a last time to make a last minute investment using this action.

Free of Charge upgrade to the new Conference Suite (DCN-SW) As already announced during the Customer Day in Amsterdam all customers who will buy the LBB4190 range software in 2010 will have the possibility to upgrade their software free of charge to DCN-SW in 2011. - Conditions : o The customer has to send a copy of the invoice for LBB4190. o Upgrade is one to one meaning old license will be upgraded to a new license containing the same application modules.

Soon we will also prepare a leaflet about this deal to make it easier for you to communicate it with your customers. As soon as the leaflet is ready well sent it to you including the details of the procedure for upgrading to DCN-SW.

Example application for Camera Control via DCN-SWSMD Some of you will recognize the problem that from time to time in some projects an extra comport is needed on the DCN-CCU. The reason for this is that in those projects a Control PC, Open Interface (e.g. touch screen for chairman) and Camera Control are required. One of the solutions in these cases is to do Camera Control via the information stream that is coming out of the Control PC. To do this custom made software is needed and this can be done locally. By this way you will save a comport and all three requirements can be fulfilled.

To help you in the right direction we have made an example application to demonstrate you how this application can work and look like. The version which is now available can already be used in the most cases. The idea is that this will be an open source application meaning the source codes are available so that locally adjustments and improvements can be made to further develop this application. Off course if you modify the software locally it would be good that we receive it also to share with other NSOs.

Some highlights of this example application: Allows camera control to be used together with the new Bosch DCNSW software suite using the DCN-SWSMD module. Names from the delegate database can be displayed on the camera screen Virtual keyboard control included Optional -> Operator control: Quickly switch the camera between active speakers by simply double-clicking on an active speaker. Open source application enabling the possibility for local adaptations and improvements. For Bosch Allegiant video switcher solutions.

Delivery problems As known from time to time we have some delivery issues with products. Related to this subject recently Ruud Michiels, Orderdesk Manager EMEA, sent out an email explaining how to handle when facing delivery problems. Please find below the email:
At this moment requests from NSO's with respect to deliveries will land within BOSCH ST on multiple departments, which implies to many department are busy trying to improve delivery times and trying to solve the same issue. Currently no capacity for Specials Please be informed that due to involvement in some big projects, the 3SG group doesnt have any capacity at the moment to realize specials. Therefore I would like to ask you all to avoid any specials in your projects and certainly not actively promote to sell specials. If despite this still specials are required for a project you should try to find locally a 3rd party company who could make the required specials. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Conference Reference List As announced earlier this year we will ask you every 3 months to send us your updated reference list so that we can merge it to one central conference reference list (stored at the sales support drive) which then can be used by all of you to impress and convince your customers. As mentioned before also pictures of these references are very important. Unfortunately till now I didnt get much response from you and I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in this. Remember that an up to date reference list is for the benefit for all of us. Herewith I would like to ask you again to send me your updated reference lists (incl. pictures) latestly the 1st week of April 2010. DCN Classic End of Life stock about to be scraped We announced some time ago that after a period the DCN Classic EOL stock would be scraped. Herewith I want to inform you that the procedures of scraping the EOL stock are started and so it can happen any time these days. Therefore I would like to ask you all to check the EOL list for a last time and if there is something in the list that you might need to place a last minute order in the system.
