Review What are the new features of Windows 7? B. Motivation Let the pupils recall any restaurant or fast food chain that they recently visited. Let them answer the following questions on a paper. Who were with you when you went to the restaurant? What did you order? How about your companions? How did you make your choice? Did the restaurant ofter great food? Did you enjoy your food? Do sharing activity. Ask them to write on the board the food that they usually order in a restaurant. Call at least five pupils. Explain that combining all of thesse, they formed a list of food called Menu. Ask them the purpose of a menu in restaurants or fast food chains. C. Presentation Explain that when using the computer, it gives you a list of choices too, called the menu. A list of programs where you can choose from. These programs are found in the Start menu. D. Discussion What are the Elements of the Start Menu? What are the uses of Left pane The right pane Music Perosnal Folder Computer Documents Control Panel Pictures Default Programs Devices and printers Help and support What are the items located on the left and right pane? What are the items under the Shut down buttons? E. Generalization What are the elements of the Start Menu? IV. Evaluation Conduct a seatwork. Answer Lesson review on page 18-19. V.
