Anticipation, the Agony of Almighty

Long time ago the Lord Almighty created a perfect world inhabited by perfect people. This world was designed so that He could enjoy relationship with the fruit of His labour; in fact the last addition to His creation the ones called mankind elevated the description of His effort from good to very good. This last addition a sentient being was to be His ultimate creative achievement, one in who He could enjoy friendship and fellowship with. Have you ever noticed how the greatest achievements of your life tend to have a flip side? They always tend to become something other than great after a while? We find the need to maintain that achievement a drag, or another trumps what we have done, or even we get tired of the achievement and start thrashing around in search of a new summit to scale. In essence this is the result of what happened such a long time ago when the Almighty became stymied by the actions of His ultimate creation. We the beloved of Almighty were placed in a situation of comfort and just had one restriction, two if we count the task of tending to our surroundings and subduing it. He pointed out one tree and said that is off limits, out of bounds, a tree of death to all who eat its fruit. But no, that was not good enough for us and our minds turned to the question of why the limitation on that one tree. This still happens today. Our children must learn the hard way that we know what we say when we place boundaries on them. With each generation we repeat the actions of Adam and Eve. We think that proscriptions for our good ar e the hook of our older generation to deprive us of something and so we strive against those boundaries. There is nothing so normal as history repeating itself. This is the human condition. The y are the result of actions that are innate to the human thinking process. We could attempt to fudge the responsibility back upon the One who designed us. But that would just lead to the fact that it would have been a lot simpler for Him to create a lesser being one who would do as we were told. The problem with that, and there are two, is that this human condition is also tied to the great achievements we have enjoyed personally and sociologically. Every advance in our civilization, as well as the problems, has been the result of the human condition. Just to be clear about the events so long ago. God knew that this flaw existed in mankind, it was no Divine mistake. He did not place that special tree in the garden as a stumbling block. He trusted mankind to obey His limitations knowing that we had the capacity and free will to do the opposite of accept His limitations. Just as we hope for the best in our children and other people we interact with so He hopes we will accept the best that He has for us. He even established a second chance for us to relat e with Him through the person of Jesus the Son by asking Him to become one of us and then to die for us so that God could deem us as perfect again. If we decide to accept that He is Almighty Creator and we are designed for that relationship He desires to have with us. It is as simple as deciding to live for the Father Almighty.
