WHO ARE YOU? 'Who are you?

' The teacher asks the question What do you mean 'who am I?' I am me. She explains. Now what? Frantic thinking. Quite a while later, put down I am a child of God. Teacher says no religious answers. I am confused. If I'm not that, what am I? Says describe yourself. Now what? Rest of the class begin to read their responses. I listen. Write down what I think the teacher wants. But is it really me? For still inside, my first response is: I am me.
