About the Herbalist I am a Brighid's Aide Woman/Herbalist following in the tradition of Irish women who studied the ways Brighid, goddess and saint, patroness of healers, to share with their communities. I am grateful to participate in weaving the web of ancient wisdom with the wisdom of the present, providing a link for the future of wisdom traditions. My training includes clinical herbalism as well as studies of Celtic lore and spiritual traditions. I began my journey into Celtic studies nearly 20 years ago and my formal herbal studies 10 years ago. I am initiated as both an herbalist and a ban draoi (woman druid) by Gina McGarry, who has served as the Ard Ban Dra0i (High Woman Druid) of the sacred Hill of Tara, Irelands ancient hill of kings. Herbal Consultation Services I provide private consultations to discuss, in depth, specific healing interests. As an herbalist, I share personal and clinical experience, offering a targeted collection of herbal choices, streamlining personal education for those who want to be empowered in their own health choices.

Herbal Consultation Services (continued) I offer research documentation to provide easy sharing of herbal choices with your primary care giver. Consultations are not a replacement for medical advice, but a complement to it. Herbalists do not treat, prevent, cure, diagnose, or prescribe. Personal creation of a healing ritual is encouraged as part of a holistic approach. Many people find a deep satisfaction in mindfully preparing their custom formulated teas, aromatics, and vibrational essences. Consultation services are also available for custom formulations and private label creations. Luxury aromatics, herbal skin care, herbal teas, vibrational essences, anointing oils, and incense can be developed to enhance the experience of guests and clients. Small batch alembic distillations of rose water and other hydrosols are available as time and nature permit. Schedule a private consultation with Aunde Cornely to learn about safe and effective herbal choices for your own wellness. celticherbcraft@gmail.com 360.524.3724

The Irish Herbal Project

Coming soon to kickstarter.org
Through my efforts at weaving together a comprehensive understanding of what exactly Celtic herbs are in both their sacred and mundane uses I have often encountered the well-meaning sharing of modern lore passing as ancient truth, herbal traditions which cannot identify their sources, or terribly intense scholarly writings which offer much documented fact but little inspiration because the questions asked and answered are determined by academics, not herbalists. It is my hope to use my skills in research writing, photography, herbalism, and fine art publishing and exhibitions to create both truth and beauty for all those who seek to understand Irish herbs. I want to create a guide to which herbs were used and how they were used, in which areas of Ireland and at what time in history, by weaving folklore, medical manuscripts, botanical manuscripts, and archaeobotanical evidence into a richly illustrated photo and reference book with an online database and an accompanying traveling exhibition.
