TheaimoftheVIEditionoftheRefresherCour se is to provide useful information on Appro priate Technologies in Developing Countries, withaspecialattentiontoemergencycontexts: focus on environmental issues about water, wastewater,solidwasteandenergy; technical, social and financial aspects of an AppropriateTechnology; presentationofcasestudies; groupworkonselectioncriteriaforsustaina bletechnologies. Twodayswillbespecificallydedicatedtowater and sanitation management in emergency si tuations. Thecourseisaddressedto: peopleworking in International Development Cooperation; researchers, assistant professors and PhD students; interestedstudentsandpeople. A Certificate of attendance will be issued for students that attend at least 75% of the Sum merSchool.
