In order to automate the workflow of quote moving to downstream system, the windows services were developed and installed in servers. Service picks the quote from database and interacts with two external systems (Asynch with one system and Synch with another) and gets back the data and saves it. After this process in order to send data back to downstream one XML is generated and written into Message Queue. XML involves critical business logic which links application to downstream system. Responsibilities: Analysis of the XSLT, stored procedure and generate the corresponding C# code. Exposing and Consuming web services. Accessing IBM message queue and En- queue objects into same. Perform Code Review and unit testing.

PROJECT: Quoting and Renewal FROM: OCT 09 TILL FEB 10 DESCRIPTION:

CLIENT: AETNA INC.

The Quoting and Renewal System web portal is used for generating the insurance quote for a given group. The integral part of QRS application is rating engine which does the important aspect of calculating the rates/ premium for a given quote. QRS application accesses the Rating engine through web services. The user can generate the quote as a PDF document. An application called TallPDF is used for generating the PDF documents.

Responsibilities: Analysis of the existing code and database objects to support maintenance and enhancement activities Bug fixing for projects. Perform Code Review and unit testing.
