Marriott International Los Angeles, CA June 2010 - present. Area Sales Leader Responsible for managing the sales and marketing revenue for sixteen (16) hotels in the Los Angeles Area. Total annual revenue for the portfolio of hotels is over $186 Million with a variety of brands such as Renaissance, Marriott, Courtyard, SpringHill Suites, Towne Place Suites, and Residence Inn. Responsible for managing a team of ten (10) account executives and coordinators who represent Marriott hotels (globally) to over 350 accounts in the LA South area. Created two online networks for the western region (750+ users) using Microsoft Sharepoint technology and a Ning network. Completed training for the majority of the online community on both networks.
