One issue that Malaysian students are influences most is the evils of drug addiction. Our ancients have spoken of five cardinal sins which drug is one why man consumed drugs Kinds of drugs How could it affect physically, mentally, morally, socially and

financially which must be avoided by all means though they may appear to bring profit or pleasure for the time being. They are all gambling, stealing, murder just for these drugs. The history of humanity is proof with examples where people have been ruined by the following path of one or other of them. A whole nation was brought to disgrace because of this drugs. Why then students are still getting influences of taking drugs? Some think it gives pleasure but some others think that it takes away physical weariness. Other than that certain students take it to release stress or forget their worries. Where else, in cold countries they take it to keep their self warm. While in a very small doses of drugs may and do act as medicine, it can never bring pleasure. Sustained consumption of them in a very large quantities or doses in time is called addiction. Hence they may dope effect and at the spur of the moment the person may act more vigorously but only to find him weaker later. From the time immemorial man has known to make drugs. Toddy is a one of the good examples. It is easy to make also and it can students can get addicted to it when they drink it just like wine, brandy, whisky and other alcoholic drinks. Drugs also have to the different forms which are easily been found like cough medicine. Ecstasy, ganja and heroin are some of example of drugs. These drugs easily affect to the nervous system especially small brains. Small brains control the all our voluntary action like walking, talking and moving our parts of body. So if a student is under the influence of drugs is unable to walk or he staggers because he cannot control his voluntary action. Since it deadens the senses the man under the influences of drugs does not know what he does or speaks, very often under the influenced of a drug do shameful acts. Continued addiction upsets the digestive system, especially the liver, leading even to death. Besides that, now days drugs like marijuana are being taken most by youngsters especially students under false pretence. It is really unfortunate they don t realise that it the presence of harmful effect that will affect them in future. Sometimes it is also due to lack of parents intention towards them. Where they need their love one to be them but it couldn t be achieve due to certain circumstances example like parents are too busy finding income till they forgotten that their love one at home waiting for them. In this case, the child will start mix around with some non moralised student which led them to the wrong path. Certainly the drugs will not and cannot add and bring

A drug does not at all add to mental disturbances but far from it actually mental faculties will be benumbed. In order to release stress and forget worries students take drugs because of their soporific effect but drug is exactly not the right choice. Where else, the addict themselves knows that so they consumes them only in secret an no addict in open place because they are afraid of public who will come forward to say that they are an addict. No religion ever support of drugs addiction because it only leads to the immoral and evil activities. Socially, drug addicts will looked down upon and people would try their level best to avoid them. They would just be a nuisance wherever they are, at home, education firm or even in company. Their families also will share the ignominy because people will always point the accusing finger at such families. Financially, it ruins drug addict. Then, their income would go down the drains as it were for what could be spent for the expenses for the family could be easily are wasted on drugs. So when considered wisely one should just avoid drugs because brings disasters. There are two types of drugs which is legal and illegal drugs. A legal drug is not necessarily safe or non-addictive. The most famous drugs that are legal and freely available in Malaysia is alcohol and nicotine, adults 18 and older can buy cigarettes and those 21 and older can buy alcohol in Malaysia. These drugs are among the most often abused. If student get addictive to these drugs, they will have a dangerous side effects and can cause drug interactions.

Alcohol can cause people have a difficulty walking, blurred vision, slurred speech, slowed reaction times and impaired memory. Alcohol affects the brain. Even one drink of the alcohol, driving ability is impaired. Driving after having a drink is illegal in Malaysia and all others country too. Nicotine is from cigarettes. Nicotine in small quantities is useful to the human body. Some neurological processes require it to function. But in large amounts in can be harmful or fatal.

Some symptoms include: irritability, exhaustion, mood swings, insomnia, headaches, poor appetite, anxiety, and shifting energy levels. Most of the people unable to quit smoking after addicted to it. Although it depends on the person willingness to quit smoking but it is still very hard to quit when already addicted. It also causes cancer such as, lungs cancer, dental cancer and also brain cancer. Other drugs like sedatives and tranquilizers are available for medical purposes, but they are highly addictive, even at prescribed dosage.

These include Xanax, Ativan, Valium and Librium. Major tranquilizers such as Haldol, Navane, Thorazine, and Mellaril are called 'anti-psychotics . They are generally used to treat symptoms of paranoia, psychosis, hallucinations or delusions. Tranquilizers are lesser abused because of their effect of reducing anxiety. Sedatives are similar to tranquilizers; they have a calming effect and help to induce sleep. But this drugs are most commonly abused and the most addictive because it have a higher effect on depressing the nervous system and if taking too much of it will cause death. Some of the people misuse Sedatives to commit suicide.

Drug are been using in the sports. Most of the sports people or atlantics does uses drug as pain killer, and most of the muscle builders uses the drug in a healthy and save ways. They take the drugs in ways of different, such as powder, pill, and injection. These drugs are approved by our government in a terms and condition. Most the student of Malaysia, who are involve in the sports line, they are anchorage to take this drugs to gain more result in a short term. The percentages of the drugs are not high, compare with the other type of drugs. These also can influents the youngsters. When they dint have the control, or there are less people to advice or counsel them about the good and bad. These will anchorage the youngster to involve in drug easily.

Moreover, drugs are also been use widely by students in partying. In parties, students use drugs to make them more enjoyable in the party so that they can feel braver when doing things in then party. By taking these drugs, students are been attracted by each other because these drugs are harmless. Furthermore, students don t know how bad a drug can cause our body. Therefore, they may over dos the amount of drugs and en up of being admitted in the hospitals. Students also take drugs during the party is because to be famous at that time. Students would want to be in the know or the so called hottest things in town .

Students also take drugs because they feel and have peer pressure issues. Which contribute ultimately to the constant habit or need to consume drugs. This creates feelings of stress, anxiety and in some way may contribute to compulsive behavior, People older than themselves would be perceived to consuming or getting used to drugs, drinking, women and a so called good life . So it is considered a hip thing .

A must do in the list to becoming cool. Sadly it is usually linked with drinking, smoking and simply going to clubs. Most parents would allow their children to have freedom and to a certain

This is clearly becoming an issue for parents of all walks of life, as it is becoming dangerous. Once the habit of taking drugs kicks in, teenagers would be more likely to consume higher ranges of drugs. These drugs may get higher in terms of content and intoxication. They may contain more potent chemicals that are harmful to the human body, thus, those drugs can cause unusual symptoms or sickness that are drug related.

Some drugs will make you feel light headed like marijuana , cocaine & heroine is drugs that give a kick and promote hyper-activity of the body. They can cause the bodies temperature to increase drastically, thus, causing hunger to be a constant factor after a few hours. Water is heavily drunk and there is always the needs to eat something are some of symptoms. Symptoms from vomiting, constant migraines, fever and abdominal pains are not uncommon. They also will contribute to the likely hood of getting HIV and Aids, due to needle sharing.

LSD is a synthetic drug that nullifies the nervous system thus creating a heaven feeling that becomes a state of mind where victims cannot feel anything by touch or taste. They can speak, but their speech is hindered due to the drug which prevents proper thought patterns. There are reported cases where the victims have hurt themselves or amputated certain body parts and when they wake up or the drug wears off by the next day, they go into a fit of agony and pain, due to the pain and injuries unknowingly caused by the consumption of LSD. It is by far one of the most dangerous and lethal drugs in the drug market for its potency and synthetic good-feel . It can be found in various establishments, night clubs, bars and various hot selling spots .

Steroids are a standard drug that is used for both animals and used by athletes. Both men and women are reported to consume it and it is one of the most common suspension attributes that can be called upon for career hiatuses due to the offense usually by offenders being caught for consuming this drug and in some cases over-doses. This drug has been found to be the cause of the majority of deaths of athletes because it pushes or over-drives the body beyond its normal or standard capability thus creating a hot bed for symptoms of body heat, fever, and vomiting and general exhaustion reports. Thus, steroids should never be consumed without proper prescription or by doctor s advice. Even then, dosages are according to prescriptions by doctors.

Drugs are a crime to consume, if illegally sold and found to do so. It is considered a life sentencing or a death penalty depending on the country in which the court or trial was carried out in. Drugs are by no means fun at all. They have intoxicating properties and can nullify the brain, thus preventing any kind of proper thought patterns. It promotes a very bad life-style and thus, it is inappropriate in general life and should never be consumed, unless of it is a prescribed medicine or under specific junction by a doctors or various practitioners in the medicine or pharmaceutical lines of work. To curb this issue, re-habilitation centers and awareness campaigns are setup each year to report about these continuing rising issues that can be prevented is noticed before hand or by observance.
