Applications are invited for admission to the following courses of VSU, Nellore, for the academic year 2009 -10, through the Directorate of Admissions, SVUCET-2009. Courses offered: (1) M.Sc. *for SC/ST/BC Candidates with income limit. Six payment seats are available in all courses except Master of Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM) at a one time fee payment of Rs.50,000/- for Sciences and Rs.20,000/- for Arts in addition to the Regular fee indicated above.
How to Apply: Application along with the Instruction Booklet can be purchased from: State Bank of India, SVU Campus, Tirupati, or Andhra Bank, SVU Campus, Tirupati, or Andhra Bank, VR College Campus, Nellore, or Head Post office counters of Tirupati, Kadapa, Kurnool, Anantapur, Nellore, Kavali, Chittoor, and Post offices of SVU Campus, Tirupati, S.K. University, Anantapur and SVU Co-Operative Consumers Stores, SVU Campus, Tirupati by paying an amount of Rs. 250/- (+ Rs.15 towards service charges) OR The Director, Directorate of Admissions, SV University, Tirupati-517 502 in person or by post by sending a self-addressed stamped (Rs.20/- by ordinary post and Rs.37/- by registered post) envelope of A4 size along with a demand draft for Rs.250/- drawn in favour of 'Director, Directorate of Admissions' payable at Tirupati with name and address of the candidate written on the back side of the DD. Application can also be submitted online from the website: www.svudoa.com. Such candidates should submit a print out of the filled in application along with a self addressed post card and a DD for Rs.250/-drawn in favour of Director, Directorate of Admissions, payable at SVU Campus, Tirupati with application Number and the Name of the candidate written on the back side of the DD. IMPORTANT DATES: (1) Sale of applications : 09-03-2009 to 09-04-2009 (2) Last date for receiving filled-in applications : 5 pm on 09-04-2009 (3) Sale with late fee of Rs.200/- extra (only at Directorate, SVU, Tirupati) : 10-04-2009 to 17-04-2009 (Test Centre only at Tirupati) (4) Date of entrance tests : 02-05-2009 to 12-05-2009
Note:1) Those candidates who already applied for SVUCET-09 for Chemistry, Biotechnology, English and Master of Social Work need not apply again. Their applications will also be considered for admission to the courses in Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore. 2) Supplementary Prospectus for VSU will be made available in the websites www.svudoa.com and www.simhapuriuniv.org 3) Counselling for admission/sliding will be held at S.V. University, Tirupati simultaneously with the admissions of SV University, as per the SVU admission rules given in the Instruction Booklet of SVUCET-09. 4) No separate application will be issued by VSU, Nellore 5) Mere appearance at entrance test will not entitle the candidate for admission unless the stipulated eligibility conditions are satisfied.
