#4 Shinney Boo Creek Overnight

Forget your daily routine! Here's your chance to get away from it all just a short drive from home. Bring the dog, kick back and enjoy a spectacular day and night at Shinney Boo Creek Cabins. #1 Take a Ride in a 1941 Gar Wood

Four lucky individuals will join Nancy and Wes Cunningham for a champagne luncheon cruise to Emerald Bay on a beautiful sunny day this summer. You'll board the Cunningham's 1941 Gar Wood Deluxe Runabout, Santanta, for a cruise along the West Shore, past Meeks Bay and Rubicon, through the strait into Emerald Bay for a gorgeous view of one of Lake Tahoe's most outstanding natural coves. You'll balance champagne and tasty lunch treats on one hand with your camera in the other for spectacular photos. Their beautiful 20-foot Gar Wood will be appearing in the August Concourse d'Elegance where Gar Wood "woodies" will be the Marque Class. #2 Ski with Olympian Tamara McKinney

Skiing alongside Olympian and world champion Tamara McKinney, the first American woman to win the overall World Cup Title and holder of 18 individual World Cup wins and 10 national championship titles, may sound a little daunting. But don't be intimidated. Tahoe's own Tamara is yours for the day. She will take five lucky donors skiing throughout Squaw Valley for an adventure others can only dream of. Ski at your own pace and enjoy a day you will not soon forget. After coming off the slopes, relax and take pleasure in a fabulous lunch at Plump Jacks fine restaurant. Ski ticket is not included. #3 Bike Ride, Beach Volleyball, Bocce and BBQ

Ten fortunate guests will enjoy a 20-mile out-and-back leisurely bike ride along Boca Reservoir up to Stampede followed by more fun with sand beach volleyball, bocce ball and a casual outdoor barbecue at the Simon property in Truckee. For those enthusiasts desiring an added aerobic work-out (deserving of extra beer), there's an optional two mile climb up Hirschdale Road. (9% grade). #4 Fourth of July Up on the Ridge

There's no better view of the Fourth of July fireworks over Donner Lake than from the Marnitz' deck on Skislope Way! Twenty lucky guests will start the fun evening with cocktails and fine wines, including a selection from Truckee River Winery (Best Man, anyone?), while meeting new friends. Then you'll nosh on a scrumptious barbecue dinner flown in specially from Houston, Texas from Goode Company Barbecue -barbecue so delectable it was served at the White House! Afterwards, you'll stake your claims on the comfy deck furniture around the fire pit (or in the hot tub, if you prefer) to watch the spectacular fireworks show. To top off this perfect evening, you'll enjoy Goode Company's world-famous pecan pie as well as a selection of homemade desserts -- Sue's specialty -- and Veuve Cliquot champagne. #5 Snowshoe Hike and Four-Course Dinner

Breathtaking views of the east slope looking toward Mt. Rose and the Truckee River corridor as well as the beautiful natural scenery of Jackass Ridge Ranch just outside of Truckee are yours as you snowshoe along Jackass Ridge with five other guests. After you work up an appetite, a gourmet lunch will be served on the trail. Following your hike, you will return to the ranch house for champagne and appetizers followed by a four-course dinner with wine pairings prepared by chefs Stefanie Olivieri and Lake Tahoe Music Festival President Sally Lyon. #6 Hike and Lunch With Your Pup

Enjoy a glorious hike through beautiful Northstar as you spend quality time with man's best friend. You and your pup will begin at a private residence in upper Northstar (Big Springs) and end at the village, where you both will board a gondola for a ride up to the Day Lodge for a delicious picnic lunch. After lunch, you and Fido will be puttin' on the Ritz as you stroll leisurely through the dog-friendly Ritz Carlton before heading down to Georgine Casella's home for an outside doggie spa shower. #7 Snowshed Hike with Beach Lunch

Bring your flashlights and jackets and hike the original route of the Central Pacific Railroad over Donner Pass with an historical overview provided by Tom and Pam Hobday as your guides. Considered the most daunting stretch of the construction of the transcontinental railroad in 1868, it was also one of the most difficult engineering projects of its day. Your hike will begin on the summit at Rainbow Bridge with a moderately difficult 5.8 mile journey to Cold Stream Canyon. The first two miles are in the tunnels or snowsheds, and the route is downhill except for a short stretch with a 200-foot vertical rise. After your exhilarating hike, you and the other guests will gather at the beach at the west end of Donner Lake for lunch and libations. Bring your suits in your backpack for a relaxing swim! Then, relax on your hosts' patio overlooking the waterfall, listen to some great music, and enjoy mimosas with a delicious brunch while you relish the beauty of the resort's grounds. Next, you'll take a leisurely walk to Old Greenwoods Pavilion and bask in the sun from the hot tub, pool or water slide with a poolside beverage of your choice! #9 A Walk in the Mokelumne Wilderness

Enjoy a fun filled easy to moderate hike to Meiss Lake located on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail in the Mokelumne Wilderness. This area boasts some of the most diverse wildflowers in the Tahoe Basin making this exciting hike extraordinarily colorful. Wendy Wood and Schatzi Boyd will be your trail guides, complete with wildflower reference manuals to augment the experience of this botanically rich area. After your two-hour 'walk in the park' to the lake, with only 500 feet in elevation gain, you'll feast on a gourmet picnic lunch with wine and other beverages plus dessert. You'll have an hour to relax, swim, and take photos, so be sure to bring your camera! There will be two horses to carry all picnic supplies and accessories. The horses are owned and will be ridden by Ben and Veronica Kaufman. Refreshments and treats will also be provided at the end of the hike. The only things you need to carry are a camera and bottled water. #10 A Marriage of Food and Wine

If you've ever wondered why wines taste the way they do or how wines affect and are affected by the taste of food, you won't want to miss this wine seminar and dinner. On the deck of the Grossman/Lewicki Estate, wines will be discussed by their chemical compositions, grape characteristics and flavoring components. Then guests will move to the dining room where wines will be paired with a simple pasta which will then be built through several layers of complexity by adding various sauces (cheese, mushroom, tomato, and lamb). This educational and entertaining event is presented by Ron Fenolio, Master Knight and Cellarmaster, Brotherhood of the Knights of the Vine, Owner of Veedercrest Winery and CEO of the Jacuzzi Family Vineyards. He is also the Director of Wine Education for both Cline Cellars and the prestigious Ramekin Culinary Institute, Napa. #11 Moonlight Soiree Overlooking Lake Tahoe

As the peaks turn pink with alpenglow, seven fortunate couples will enjoy the full moonrise from the Farnells beautiful lakeview garden in Cedar Flat. Meet new friends, indulge in fine wines from Uncorked, and savor gourmet delights by Wolfdales, Christy Hill, Jakes, Evergreen, Sugar Pine Cakery and chefs Conover and Farnell. For guests who desire, finish off the evening in the hot tub or around the fire pit, enjoying a fabulous view of the lake as the night creeps in. #12 K-9 Search and Rescue Experience

Picture yourself lost in the woods for 24 hours, at your wit's end, exhausted tired and hungry. As all hope seems lost, you hear a dog. As the dog comes closer, you realize that he is leading a search team to you and you realize that you have been saved. K9 search and rescue dates back to the 1800s. Today, these trained dogs are used in many disciplines of search and rescue, some well known such as avalanche and man tracking, to less known searches such as water search and back-country rescue. Dogs are involved in more than 300 searches in California per year. Spend one of two mornings with a retired K9 search team, Kane Schaller and his rescue dog Timber, learning all about search and rescues from demonstrations to training advice to all the various aspects of search and rescue. #13 A Full-Moon Ski Tour and Dinner

Imagine moonlight reflecting off perfectly groomed trails at the Tahoe Nordic Center. Now, imagine yourself on those very trails as you join hosts Pam Chamblin and Leah Kaufman for a guided cross-country full-moon ski tour. Your choice of skating, diagonal or snow-shoeing equipment is included. You'll stop briefly for a photo shoot and hot mulled wine, and then your adventure will reconvene at Casa Chamblin where chefs Gary Kaufman and Dale Chamblin will prepare a sumptuous Santa Fe style dinner. This will be a warm and casual evening filled with delicious food, beautiful wines and comedic games. Yes, expect lots of laughs!
