The monthly meeting started at 2:00pm in APPV-Vopak main office in Ho Chi Minh City. The meeting was arranged to address the owner regarding the progress and some issues of the project. SITE WORKS: Jimmy informed that the pile driving works accomplishment todate is 328 piles as compared to total of 804, i.e. 40.79%.

Deleted Hung requested to APPV an assistance regarding the 3 Phase power supply (415V) for rebar fabrication of the site. Jason reminded that MEI should have a standby generator at site in case of power failure. Using hard chicken mesh material for fencing in Chinese barracks was accepted. To provide a smoking hut and toilet for workers at the site. To update the mandays and accident statistics in the safety bulletin board daily. Jason advised that a designated place should be provided within the Chinese living area for smoking. Workers are not allowed to smoke anywhere they like. ENGINEERING / DESIGN ISSUE: Jimmy informed that the engineering/design works progress to11. date is 73.90% and some drawings have been submitted but still waiting for comments from APPV. Jimmy informed that the weighbridge length is about 15m as 12. shown on the tender drawings, there is a constraint to provide at 22m long at site. PROCUREMENT ISSUE: Brian suggested that the tank material delivery is through river 13. shipping. Jimmy informed that the 1,711 tons of steel plate required for the 14. tankage. The pre-start of tank construction on site will begin on the first week of September. Jimmy replied that the Vietnamese version of the imported 15. material/equipment would be submitted to APPV on this Saturday. COMMERCIAL ISSUE: Jason informed that MEI is required to submit the advance 16. performance bond. Jimmy would like to discuss with Ms. Ha concerning the progress 17. payment claim after this meeting. GENERAL INFORMATION: Brian informed that SGS will be arrived this coming September 18. and assigned for all QC Control issue.
