1 INTRODUCTION
This document provides information for the Motorola PTP 800 Series System Release PTP 800-03-10. Software updates for PTP products are available from www.motorola.com/ptp/software Operating in the L6, U6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 23, 26 and 38 GHz radio frequency bands, the Motorola Point-to-Point (PTP) 800 Series Licensed Ethernet Microwave solutions are designed for Ethernet bridging over licensed point to point microwave links. PTP 800 provides link capacity from 10 Mbps to 368 Mbps full duplex with configurable ETSI and ANSI channel bandwidths from 7 to 56 MHz. With upgradeable link capacity limits from 10 Mbps to full capacity via software key, the system offers exceptional cost efficiency and scalability. With the addition of PTP 800 to the point-to-point portfolio, Motorola continues to provide our partners and customers the latest in wireless and broadband innovation and leadership while offering a broad range of mobile and broadband solutions, a full complement of support services and far-reaching global presence. 3 NEW FEATURES IN PTP 800-03-10

3.1 Operation in Upper 6 GHz band with FCC regulation

This release supports the FCC Upper 6 GHz band from 6.525 GHz to 6.875 GHz. Details as following: Bandwidth of 10 MHz supporting modulations from QPSK up to 128QAM. Bandwidth of 30 MHz supporting modulations from QPSK up to 256QAM

4 ENHANCEMENTS AND FIXES IN PTP 800-03-10

4.1 Incorrect transmit power compensation The problem is introduced in PTP 800-03-00 release. It is found that the ODU transmit power could be incorrectly compensated with temperature and cause the link performance degradation. The issue has been fixed in System Release 800-03-10.
