ABSTRACT RX-04-CW, LX-07-1, and RX-09-CD were t e s t e d .

The RX-04-CW and LX-07-1 are not

complete; however, results so f a r show the RX-04-CW comparable i n sensitivity

t o PBX 9404 while the LX-07-1 is less sensitive a t 14".

Several RX-09 formulations have been t e s t e d ; a l l were relatively sensitive w i t h #6 r e a c t i o n s a t low heights when impacting a t 14".
Of a l l the RX-09's t e s t e d ,

RX-09-CB appeared t o be the most d e s i r a b l e material based on s e n s i t i v i t y . DISCUSSION

One formulation of RX-09, LX-07-1 and RX-04-CW (an HMX-Vi ton v a r i a n t ) was

FUTURE WORK; COMMENTS; CONCLUSIONS

Testing will be completed on RX-04-CW and LX-07-1 a t the 45" level.

A large PBX 9404 hemisphere
(%

300 pounds) has been fabricated and will be tested

as soon as the formulation testing is complete.

three drops from 2.5',

three drops from 3 . 5 ' , and three drops from 5.0' ( t h u s "recalibrated" a t 45").
RX-04-CW will have six t e s t s a t 1.75'/45". RX-04-CX (95% HMX/5% Viton) will be tested a t 1.75'/45"
