My name is Dr. Michael Pasoff (DMD, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec), and I am currently a dental resident at University of Nevada Las Vegas General Practice Residency. I am writing to you because I am preparing to embark in a dental humanitarian experience in Nepal that I believe would be extremely beneficial to the communities we will serve and to my growth as a dental practitioner. Global Humanitarian Expeditions, a non-profit volunteer organization, offers a program that places volunteers in countries such as Nepal, India, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand for a variety of community development projects. Global Humanitarian Expeditions mission is to operate volunteer programs around the world in partnership with local communities, bringing people together to work side-by-side to create and operate community development programs in health care and education. With my background as an emergency medical technician, registered nurse, dentist and currently undertaking advanced postdoctoral education, my placement will focus on treating children with acute dental infection and pain. I will have the opportunity to assist other health care providers in setting up dental clinics and providing dental care to children that would otherwise not have the opportunity or resources to receive dental care. All Global Humanitarian Expeditions programs are run solely by volunteer contributions, and therefore each program has a fee. The fee for this three (3) week program, including all meals, lodging, international airline tickets from the US and in-country transportation totals $5000.00 USD. To be able to go on this program, I need financial assistance, which I hope you can help provide. If you choose to lend your support to this cause, youll be pleased to know that all donations are 100% U.S. taxdeductible. In order to make these experiences possible, extensive preparations must be made including flights, vaccinations, supplies, visa requirements, etc. As such, I am requesting your generous donations as soon as possible in order to ensure my presence in this humanitarian trip.

For your convenience, Ive enclosed a self addressed stamped envelope. Checks should be made out to Global Humanitarian Expeditions, but mailed to me at 3036 Brigantine Way, Las Vegas, Nevada USA 89128. Be sure to include your full mailing address for your tax receipt. Please write Dr. Michael Pasoff in the memo section of the check. Credit card payments are acceptable and should be make directly to Global Humanitarian Expeditions at (800) 543-1171. Please indicate that your generous donation is for Dr. Michael Pasoff.

Please consider the total cost of the expedition at $5000.00USD in making your generous donations. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $50.00USD. If the donation is less than $50, you can use the processed check as evidence of your contribution.
