@properties Hires Experienced Management Consultant as Chief Operating Officer

CHICAGO, January 6, 2011 @properties has hired Joni S. Meyerowitz, 36, as chief operating officer, announced Thaddeus Wong and Michael Golden, co-founders of the Chicago-based real estate services firm. An experienced management consultant and licensed real estate agent, Meyerowitz is the first COO in the companys ten-year history. Meyerowitz will be responsible for analyzing corporate-wide operations and implementing organizational and process initiatives at the fast-growing company, which is the largest residential brokerage firm in the city of Chicago and one of the largest independent brokerage firms in the U.S. Meyerowitz spent the last ten years consulting for Fortune 500 companies in a number of industries including law, insurance, energy and real estate. She has designed and/or implemented operational programs in accounting, human resources, sales, information technology and customer service while working as an independent management consultant, as a senior manager with Chicago-based Equity Office Properties and as a manager and senior consultant with Chicago-based Keane Consulting Group. Meyerowitz also has been a licensed REALTOR with @properties for the past five years.
