EUPHORIA

SOUND REQUIREMENTS
EUPHORIAs Line up:
Vocals-1 Backing Vocals-9 Electric Guitar 1 Bass Guitar- 1 Keyboards- 2 Drums Tabla- 1 Dholak 1 Duffli 1

HOUSE SOUND SYSTEM:

Acceptable systems: eaw, vedos, martin, turbo, meyer, ev, jbl


(1) System must consist of a Three-way or Four-way system with sufficient amplification and speaker enclosures to cover the entire seating area (Venues Maximum Capacity) and be capable of 116 DB at the mix position. (2) PASSIVE SYSTEMS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE! (3) System shall be of even coverage throughout the entire venue. (4) System should be flown whenever possible or elevated so as audience does not block system when standing. System, if stacked, should be at least six (6) inches from front of main stage. This includes sound wings and anytime system is not flown. (5) System should be configured in Stereo. (6) System should have all drive components at the mix position and be accessible to bands engineer.

HOUSE SOUND CONSOLE:

Acceptable Consoles: Midas,Yamaha,Soundcraft, Crest, allen & heath.


(1) Console must have a minimum of 40 input channels, 8 VCA groups, plus 8 aux. sends for effects. (2) NOTE: PEAVEY, BEHRINGER, AND MACKIE ARE NOT PROFFESIONAL (3) Talk back to stage and a discrete clear-com communications system between house sound and monitor world is also required. (4) Console should be placed at center position and a minimum of 75 ft. from sound system. In smaller venues as far back as possible.

CONSOLES, DO NOT ASK US TO USE THEM!!!!

SIGNAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT:


(1) --Two (2) 1/3 octave EQs

(2) --Eight (8) compressor / limiters Acceptable Units: BSS, Drawmer, dbx (3) --Eight (8) Gates Acceptable Units: Drawmer, BSS, Behringer, dbx (4) --Four (4) digital Multi-F/X Units and 1 Digital Delay Acceptable Units: Yamaha990s, Eventide, TC Electronics, Lexicon, Roland (5) --CD player, DAT Machine Able to Record

MONITOR SYSTEM AND CONSOLE:


(1) Monitor console shall have a minimum of 32 channels and eight (8) stage mixes.

(2) EUPHORIA CANNOT share Monitor channels with support acts. (3) All mixes must have 1/3 octave EQs (inserted into mixes only) (4) There shall be four (4) wedges and two (2) sidefill type enclosures with Two (2) sub cabinets, and one - 2-way or 3-way drum fill enclosure w/ sub (6) All must be 2-way bi-amped or 3-way tri-amped with electronic crossovers. (7) PASSIVE MONITORS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!! (8) A cue system must be available to listen to each mix post EQ at the monitor mix position. (9) We require system monitor engineer to mix our monitors for sound check and the show. (10) one in ear monitor set is also required MIXER LINES (With Specifications), to be set before the band reaches for sound check:

EUPHORIA
BACKLINE REQUIRMENTS
A FIVE PIECE ACOUSTIC DRUM KIT HAS TO BE ARRANGED. NOTE: THIS EQUIPMENT IS FOR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE USE BY EUPHORIA AND CANNOT BE SHARED WITH ANY SUPPORT ACT

DRUMKIT with 12 x 09 DRUM RISER to include:


1 - 24 KICK 1- 12 MOUNTED TOM 1- 14, 16, and 18 FLOOR TOMS All of these floor toms must be on legs, not mounted on stand(s). 1 - 6.5 SNARE 8 - CYMBAL BOOM STANDS 2 - SNARE STANDS 1 - HI- HAT STAND 2 - ROUND THRONES 2 - PEDALS

** ALL TOMS SHOULD HAVE NEW COATED EMPEROR BATTER HEADS. ** KICK DRUMHEAD SHOULD BE A POWER STROKE 3 WITH A FLAM PAD. ** SNARE HEAD SHOULD BE A POWER STROKE 7.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WOULD NEED COMPLETE DRUMKIT (preferably TAMA/PEARL) with HARDWARE.

KEYBOARD AMPLIFIER: Roland or same category


Plus: Wed need 2 Mics for Tabla Player, 1 Mic for percussions, 2 mics for dholak, All the instruments will go through DI Boxes.

PERSONNEL:

The sound company will provide at least two (2) qualified engineers to assist artist engineers in all audio set-ups and deal with all support acts.

PRODUCTION CONTROL:

The production manager and/or FOH engineer or Bands representative shall maintain complete and total control over all aspects of the audio and lighting systems and their usage. Band and their representatives assume no responsibility for damages to equipment or penalties incurred for violations of applicable ordinances regarding sound or noise limitations. All personal will work under the direct control of the bands representative.

MISCELLANEOUS:

The sound, stage and lighting systems must be fully operational prior to bands load-in time. All outboard gear, monitor mixes, and AC circuits must also be in place. A stage plot is provided for this purpose, and it is the responsibility of the sound company to obtain these documents from the buyer. These documents can also be obtained by contacting the Bands Road Manager. Production Company shall have enough mic stands and cables to mic the EUPHORIA stage AND the support act, WITHOUT removing any cables and stands from the EUPHORIA stage.

SOUND CHECK:

Sound check will be scheduled prior to the opening of doors. It shall not be limited as to length, doors will be held as necessary to facilitate a proper sound check. Only working personal will be allowed in venue during sound check unless authorized by bands representative. The stage will not be struck or moved after sound check except under the direction of the production or stage manager. Stage changes will be directed by the production or stage manager so as to facilitate a smooth transition between band and any other acts. This will provide the band and venue with the smoothest transition.
