Teacher is...

teacher is one who can help the student to conduct

his/her own research and not be content with only what the teacher says.

A teacher is aware that the students come from their own

unique environment, one which often lacks moderation. Therefore, he/she has to teach them a sense of measure, to curb the one who lacks moderation, relax him/her who is emotionally charged, and release those who act compulsively. That is to say a teacher helps people express themselves while he also helps them see the "other side of the fence."

A Teacher is not someone who persecutes falsehood and

longs for the truth, nor is he/she one who curses falsehood and memorizes only what he learned as truth. A Teacher manages to see the truth in falsehood and expose the falsehood of truth. In other words, a Teacher lies beyond the truth and falsehood of men, which means he lies beyond the illusion of the senses of this world.

A Teacher is one who tries to teach himself the true

expression of the I AM Presence. He is one who attempts to open channels of light and hope where there is only darkness, and when people come to light, helps them approach again their darkness and love it as nothing else. So, when they have learned to love both light and darkness, they have then been taught everything.

Teaching is to say what you believe for yourself to be right

at all times. Not repeating what youve heard from your teacher, but saying what youve heard from your heart.

Dont think you have become a teacher when you have

learned to talk nicely and to attract the others with your presence. Becoming a teacher means learning not to

succumb to the others personal magnetism but to cocreate something with them only if you really want to.

You can truly teach only when you yourself have been
sufficiently taught. This is so not because you have learned many things to teach, but because you have been humbled enough as a student that you now always honor your own students.

You do not know anything more than others. It is just that

a number of people agreed to view things through your own eyes, and see things the way you do. Honor them for this and show them you are grateful that they agreed to co-create with you something you love. Respect should be your first and last concern.

The ego takes charge when people consider themselves

worthy to learn and share the truth. It steps aside only when people accept that they have come together to play like children in Earths playground. Learn how to play. A teacher is first and foremost a good teammate.

Be fair to your disciples: help them stop succumbing to

Teachers and to start honoring the truth in their heart.

You will fail to become a good teacher if you only repeat

what was taught to you with affability and reverence. Doing this you honor the tradition, but the tradition is based both on true findings as well as on myths. Teach the path of self-knowledge: it is the only way to protect the others from your mistakes.

Love those who come to you in order to learn. Do not fill

their souls with burdens and guilts. They bear enough already. Fill them with light and let them leave relaxed and relieved. Teach them of virtue, but do not forget that this is a game too. Every era and culture had and still have- their own rules that often contradict one another.

The law exists to serve man, not for man to serve the
law. Do not burden the others with weights that you cannot carry yourself.

People do not come to you so that you can show them

how much knowledge you have. They come to find the knowledge they have within them.

Dont think you have become a good teacher because

your disciples have succeeded in the work you taught them. Consider yourself a good teacher because your disciples dared to start a project on their own and put their best in it.

The more free and independent your disciples are, the

better teacher you've become.

The truth is that Teachers were invented because the

students deserved such Teachers.

Your goal is to share knowledge generously. Think: is your

teaching something you really know from first-hand? Remove from your teachings everything that is unnecessary.

There is no need for many words. Do not talk unless you

have something to say. Silence teaches more than words do, because it makes people turn to their hearts to find the answers they need.

Do not rush to give answers. Instead, help your students

understand the real cause of their every question. Therein lies the most appropriate answer. Each question derives from an answer. Follow the river to its source and there you will find everything you ask for.

Problems do not have solutions. They have different

possible versions. Teach your disciples the way to create their own versions. Show them how to co-create with Spirit every moment of their life.

Recognize the contribution of all and share your

sources. There is nothing new under the sun. The only new thing is your observation that sees things from a unique point of view. Accept that the others have the right and the obligation to stand to their own point of view.

Finally, do a lot of walking meditation. It will do you good. Love animals as well as everything else in nature. A good
Teacher of Light realizes the unity of All.

Once a month take some time to teach Nature. Speak with

plants and animals and the elements of nature and teach them all that you know. They listen. After that, sit silent.

Write down your spiritual experiences every day, and

teach your students to do so as well.

Never burden the others with something that you havent

managed to do yourself. This is a good measure of your own progress.

Dont ever think that people come to you to find

God. They come to find themselves - but when they do they will have also found God...
