Honble Vice Chancellor will address in the esteemed presence of Rector, Registrar, Directors, Principal and other University Officials. Admission follows. All the candidates are requested to report by 9.00am for counselling.

General Information & Instructions:

1. List of all eligible students seeking admission into the following international programs in JNTUK, Kakinada is posted on the website on Friday 01 July 2011.
5 year IIMDP [(B.Tech. + Master of Science (Engineering) in ECE with BTH, Sweden 5 year IIMDP [(B.Tech. + Master of Science (Engineering) in CSE with BTH, Sweden 5 year IIMDP [(B.Tech. + Master of Science (Engineering) in Civil Engg. with AIT, Bangkok. 4 year Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with GMR & UHIPC, Scotland, UK 4 year Aviation Engineering with USFA, Texas, USA

2. Candidates with a cutoff mark of 25% (that is, 25 and above out of 100 marks) are eligible for International Admission Counselling on 04 July 2011 (Monday) at JNTUK, Kakinada. 3. Fee details: 5-year IIMDP in ECE, CSE or Civil Engg. : Rs. 212,500/ 4-year B.Tech. (Aircraft & Maintenance Engg.) : Rs. 300,000/ 4-year B.Tech. (Aviation Engg. with Pilot Licenses) : Rs. 750,000/Candidates must should bring Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, JNTUK, Kakinada. SBI, JNTUK Campus (Code-1358) bank counter will be available at the venue on 04 July 2011 to issue DDs for the benefit of the students who bring amount by cash. 4. Invitation to participate in admission counselling on 04 July 2011 (Monday) does not assure admission into JNTUK. As students have several options available, number of vacant seats will be generated and for this reason student with rank of upto 177 also is invited for the total 105 seats available.

5. Student attending for counselling has to bear all his expenses like travel and food by himself. However, participants can avail themselves of the Canteen in which Refreshments and Lunch will be available on advance intimation. 6. Students starting from Rank 1 will be asked to choose the branch of his/her choice from any one branch among the FIVE options: (i) 4-year Aircraft Maintenance Engg. (ii) 4-year Aviation Engg. with Pilot licenses (iii) 5-year IIMDP Civil Engg. (iv) 5-year IIMDP in ECE and (v) 5-year IIMDP in CSE. If he is satisfied, he will be admitted then and there itself and he has to deposit DD towards Tuition Fees as mentioned and all the original certificates/documents. No. of vacant seats in each branch will be displayed continuously for the benefit of the participants. 7. If a student is absent the next rank student will be invited to exercise his option, and so on. 8. A student already admitted can avail himself of sliding into another branch if a vacancy arises on a later date. However, no sliding will be entertained after 11 July 2011. 9. Admissions will be made for the following:

5 year IIMDP in ECE : 20 (including One seat allotted to NRI) 5 year IIMDP in CSE : 21 (including One seat allotted to NRI) 5 year IIMDP in Civil Engg. : 16 4 year Aviation Engg. with Pilot Licenses : 16 4 year Aircraft Maintenance Engg. : 32 (16 at JNTUK, Kakinada + 16 at GMRIT, Rajam) (The University reserves the right to conduct the Program of B. Tech. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at one of the two places i.e. at UCEK, JNTUK, Kakinada or GMRIT, Rajam)

Once all the 105 seats are filled up counselling process will be stopped. 10. Student must deposit following original Certificates at the time of admission: (i) SSC Certificate showing Date of Birth (ii) Transfer Certificate (iii) Marks List of Qualifying Examination (iv) DD towards Tuition Fee in favour of Registrar, JNTUK, Kakinada. 11. Fee once paid will not be refunded. If a student wants to withdraw from admission the certificates deposited will be returned in a week after the receipt of request letter from student. 12. At any stage if it is found that the information provided by the student is wrong or if he fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria, his/her admission will be cancelled.

13. Medical Examination for B.Tech. (Aviation Engineering): Students will be admitted into the course only after Medical Examination to be conducted at 8.00am on 04 July 2011 in JNTUK, Kakinada.
The details of Medical Testing are as follows:
The only requirement the FAA has is a General Good Health where the vision can be corrected to 20/20. The General Medical Checkup with blood test of HIV, ECG, Audiometry, eye test is sufficient. The Medical requirements for an FAA First Class Medical are described in the web site and in meeting these, the applicant will also meet the DGCA requirements, as both are in accordance with the ICAO criteria's: http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov. The Medical Standards for a DGCA First Class are described in this link: http://dgca.nic.in. Student can save a lot of time if he gets any Medical Certificate in his/her place before coming for medical examination at JNTUK, Kakinada. The total process of medical examination takes about 3 hours.

Induction Training as Bridge Course:

Orientation Program (Bridge Course) will be conducted from 11 July to 10 August 2011. Faculty sponsored by BTH, Sweden, AIT, Bangkok, UHIPC, UK and USFA, USA will also be training in this program. Combined classes will be conducted by SHE Foundation for 3 weeks. Classes will be conducted for them on Saturdays and Sundays with Monday as Holiday. After the induction training, students will attend regular classes. Syllabus of 5year IIMDP is the same as that of regular B.Tech. Students for the First TWO years.
(This induction training as bridge course includes Education Tours including transportation, CDs and printed course material, Pocket dictionary, Honorarium to resource persons and mentors, Accommodation & food to trainers. These are all Professional trainers from AIT as well as other countries and also India. Training is on Aptitude, Attitude, Personality development, Personality traits and habits, Soft skills, Etiquette, Communication skills, Public speaking, Creative writing, Basics of Computers- You tube, Face-book, PPT making, Video making using cell phone, C Language, General Knowledge, Fundamentals of Biology, Books and scriptures, Bionics, Genetics, Psychology, Philosophy, Law, Human rights, Patriotism, Value education, History, History, Geography, Economics, Environment, Basics of all branches of arts, science and engineering, German language, English literature, Sanskrit, Yoga, First aid, Safety, Health, Management principles, Seminars, Individual projects, Technical paper presentation, Report writing, Model Tests of TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, CAT, IAS with solutions)
