Welcome
Prelude Opening of the Word Call to Worship Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people and will have mercy on His afflicted. Opening Hymn Name of All Majesty Reading from the Word Psalm 1 Luke 1:46-55 Readings from the Heavenly Doctrines Arcana Caelestia 4220

They who in the life of the body have received the Divine things of the Lord, that is, His love toward the universal human race; and consequently they who have received charity toward the neighbor; and also they who have received reciprocal love to the Lord, are in the other life endowed with intelligence and wisdom, and with ineffable happiness; for they become angels and thus truly men. But they who in the life of the body have not received the Divine things of the Lord, that is, who have not received love toward the human race, and still less reciprocal love to the Lord, but who have loved and indeed worshiped themselves only, and consequently have had as their end what is of self and of the world, they, in the other life, after some brief passages of life there, are deprived of all intelligence, and become utterly stupid, being among the stupid infernals there.
Congregational and Pastoral Prayer

The Lords Prayer Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, forever. Amen.

Hymn: How Beauteous on the Mountains Sermon The Giving Tree Musical Interlude Offering Doxology To Jesus Christ be glory given By all on Earth and all in Heaven. Let His dominion wide extend. His glorious Kingdom have no end. Affirmation of Faith
We worship the One God, the Lord the Savior Jesus Christ; in whom is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; whose humanity is divine. He came into the world and took our nature upon him. He endured temptation, even to the Passion of the Cross. He overcame the hells, and so delivered all. Without this, no mortal could have been saved; and they are saved who believe in Him, and keep the commandments of His Word. This is His commandment; that we love one another, as he has loved us.
