60 Years Of Caring
In 1946, Best Western Motels was founded by Mr. M. K. Guertin. The hotel chain began as an informal link between lodging establishments. With each of them recommending / promoting the other lodging establishments to their travelers. 1950 The Best Western Motels, member logo was designed, to identify member properties. 1962 Best Western began using the crown logo with a rope border to identify member properties. 1966 Major expansion of Best Western services was announced. Changes included: Establishing new headquarters in Phoenix 1974 Best Western drop its referral organization image, eliminated the word "motel & began competing with other hotel chains. 1982 The phrase, "world's largest lodging chain" became a part of Best Western's corporate identification and advertising theme 2004 Best Western became the first-ever Official Hotel of the NASCAR. And even today it continues to grow as the largest hotel chain in the world.

We have diverse experience in business leadership, real estate, hotel development, management, and operations, the cross-functional Best Western India team is leading the company to become Indias most dynamic and vibrant hotel brand. Bhupendra B. Patel, Co-Chairman Mr. Patel brings over 35 years of hospitality and real estate experience with him. His diverse experience includes ground-up development and restoring and renovating landmark hotels. Mr. Patel has served as a Governor of Best Western International for the past 20 years. Mr. Patel holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from L.D. Engineering College, Gujarat University and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University. Dr. Prabhu Goel, Co-Chairman Dr. Goel offers a wealth of leadership experience and entrepreneurship to the Signet Management team. Since 1991, Dr. Goel has invested in over 30 private companies and served on many of their boards. Dr. Goel was Division President and Director of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Dr. Goel graduated from IIT Kanpur and was the recipient of the President's Gold Medal for academic excellence. Sushant Patnaik, Director and Co-founder Over the years, Mr. Patnaik has founded and incubated multiple companies in the computer software and hardware arena spanning several geographies. He built CMOS Technology, a Silicon Valley hardware start up in early nineties with revenues over $350 million, which later acquired by Formosa group in 1994. He had started Cmos Soft in software field, Cmos chips in chip design, Concio in healthcare product and solution, Audasis in healthcare KPO. Priyanka Goel, Executive Director Ms. Goel offers a diversity of sales, marketing and operations experience. Drawing from her previous positions as Public Relations Manager for PalmOne and as a business analyst for Symphony Technology Group (STG). Ms. Goel received her B.A. from Stanford University in California

Sudhir Sinha, President & Chief Operating Officer Mr. Sudhir Sinha has over 22 years of experience in hospitality and service industry. He brings with him rich experience in the areas of franchise development, general management, new business initiatives, start-up projects. His previous role as Vice President Development & Franchise Services with Choice Hotels. Parimal Perry Patel, Vice President - Hotel Development Mr. Patel has vast hotel and hospitality industry experience with Intercontinental Hotels, Oxford Lodging, and JHM Hotels. Mr. Patel has worked extensively on acquisitions, valuations, market analysis, feasibility studies, and operational efficiencies at hotels throughout the United States. G.S.Chenny, Vice President Operations Mr.G.S.Chenny is a veteran in hospitality industry and brings with himself a wealth of knowledge with his 25 years of experience. He has done preopening of over 12 hotels and has successfully operated and marketed over 30 hotels in the chain and independently owned hotels. In Best Western India he will be responsible for the operations and sub-licensee services. He will also be responsible for execution and pre-opening of the new hotel projects of the company. Gaurav Sarin, Associate Vice President Quality Assurance Mr. Sarin has 10 years of rich experience in Sales & Marketing. Prior to joining Best Western, he was the Regional Sales Manager for Punjab and Himachal, with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts. He started his career in the hospitality industry as the Sales & Marketing Manager with Sayaji Hotel in Indore before moving to the Sarovar group. He also has very good exposure in Hotel Pre-Opening, Revenue and Yield Management across various properties. M.R.Balagopalan, GM Accounts & Finance Mr.Balagopalan brings with him a valuable experience of 27 years in the field of Accounts & Finance. He has made significant contributions in diversified industries including international trade, manufacturing, financial services and hospitality. He has also handled hotel project finance for Inovoa Hotels, a subsidiary of Asian Hotels (West) Ltd, owners of Hyatt Regency Mumbai. Prior to joining us, he was heading accounts department of Choice Hospitality.
