0 ======================================== * Link Server Support(For VPN/Subnetwork Users). - Install Outlook Link Server Service Tool in a Server(or any Windows OS) of our network. - Make sure Outlook Messenger Link Server Service is running. - All Outlook Messenge users need to provide the Link Server running IP Address in their Outlook Messenger Settings > Network Tab. * Chat Groups - Create your own chat groups or subscribe to Global groups. * Mail Messaging System - To send message mails to users instead of chat. * Announcement - To send Announcement messages instead of Chat Sessions. * Share your photo in Settings. * Sort Users List by Gender/Groups/Status. * Language Customization options. ================= Link Server Tool ================= Useful for VPN/Subnetwork Users Outlook Messenger Link Server tool can be used to link Sub Network/VPN users, if your network has a static IP address computer (used to be server) and it is acc essible by all other nodes. How to: 1. Install Outlook Messenger Link Server on a system having static IP Address. 2. Make sure Link Server service is added in firewall exception list. If needed, open TCP/UDP Port 14220, which is used by Link Server Service. 3. In ALL Outlook Messenger clients, Provide that Link Server Tool running IP Ad dress. (In Outlook Messenger Settings > Network (Tab) > Link Server IP Address) 4. Users who have provide the same link server IP Address will be displayed onli ne and able to communicate. 5. If a user not using link server IP Address like others, then he will have iss ues in users displaying online & communication. 6. If Link Server Service was stopped or any connection failure, Sub Network/VPN users will be displayed offline. Only Local Network users can able to communica te. Link Server Service need to be installed in only ONE computer for the whole netw ork. Use the same IP Address in all Outlook Messenger. If you want to have partition among Users, you can install Link Server Service i n multiple computers. Users who are using a link server IP address will be group ed & they cannot able to communicate with other link server IP address users.

======================================== 2: Installation and Setup ======================================== 1) Install Outlookmessenger.exe in the network computers (LAN Computers) you wis h to use Outlook Messenger program.

2) If you have installed Firewall (Windows Security SP2, Zone Alarm etc) in your computer, the Security Alert Warning will pop-up immediately on running Outlook Messenger. Please Unblock/Enable/Allow Outlook Messenger in the Firewall Securi ty Alert Pop-up Warning. Else Outlook Messenger can not run in the network compu ters. In case, if this Security Alert Warning did not popup during installation, You c an manually configure your Firewall to run Outlook Messenger. 3) Outlook Messenger is ZERO Setting. You NEED NOT add the users to the Chat Lis t. Outlook Messenger will automatically and instantly add the users to your Chat List after installing in the LAN computers. ======================================== 3: Trouble Shooting ======================================== Question: I am unable to see any Users in my Chat List View, Why? probably the Firewall (Windows Security, Zone Alarm etc) is blocking Outlook Mes senger program to run over the LAN Network. You have to configure your Firewall Program to run Outlook Messenger on the network computers.
