UNIT-I 1. A steel ring 30 cm mean diameter and of circular section in diameter has an air gap 1 mm long. It is wound uniformly with 600 turns of wire carrying current of 2.5 A. Find (1) Total m.m.f. (2) Total reluctance (3) Flux. Neglect magnetic leakage. The iron path takes 40% of the total m.m.f.(N/D-03) 2. When two coils are connected in series, their effective inductance is found to be 10 H.
