1224 HOURS NC II This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and desirable attitude of a computer service technician in accordance with industry standards. It covers the competencies such as: applying quality standards, proper use of hand tools, terminating and connecting of electronic and electrical components, installing, diagnosing and troubleshooting computer networks, configuring and maintaining of computer system and networks. It also includes competencies in workplace communication, team work, safety, use of hand tools, and proper housekeeping.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Students who wish to enroll in the course must: have potential/skill as per High School Occupational Interest Inventory (HSOII) results possess desirable and healthy attitude towards skill activities have passed interview and aptitude test submit the following documents: Form 138 Parent consent Medical certificate issued by a government physician Certificate of good moral character

1. Standard procedures for OH&S in installing devices/systems are followed. 2. Operating system/devices are installed according to workplace standard. 3. Modification and innovation of devices/systems are done during installation with the consent of the client. 4. Installations and assembly of the devices/systems are carried out in consonance with the unit of specification. 5. Unplanned events or conditions are carried out following the unit of specification and procedures. 6. Approval obtained before any contingencies are implemented based on established procedure. 7.
