Lourdes Pilgrimage : Friday saw the departure of our pilgrims to Lourdes by coach and plane, carrying with them our petitions to Our Ladys Shrine. This year the Pastoral Theme is :Praying the Our Father with Bernadette. For those of you who wish to join in the Novena of Prayer, leaflets are available at the back of church. Bishop Tom will be with us for a Lourdes at Home day on Wednesday of this week (27th July). This timetable for the day is as follows ; 7.30am: Mass of Our Lady of Lourdes 11.15 - 11.45am: Confessions 11.30am: Rosary 12 noon: Mass of Anointing of the Sick (Anyone wishing to be anointed is asked to see Fr John first). Tea and coffee will be served in the Parish Centre after Mass. 7.30pm: Marian Devotions. Weather permitting, some or all of this may take place outside. Please make every effort to join us for some of these services. Let Us Pray the Mass : For anyone who may have missed any of this important series in preparation for the introduction of the New Roman Missal, additional copies for each week are available at the back of church. Additional resources will be available in the next few weeks. With You Always : On Tuesday evening at 7pm in the Parish Centre we will begin to consider the new material being made available for the preparation of parents at the time of their childrens Baptism. All are welcome. Please come along if you feel you would like to become involved.
