1. Introduction
1.1 Purpose
Soap case is mainly used for saving the soap .when making a single soap mould take much time.First of all they making soap case mould tool(PRESS TOOL) after that this should be placed in to injection moulding machine .Tthey should make large quantity of production is to be done with it. Soaps can be made in long bars that are cut into individual portions, or cast into individual moulds.

1.2 Document Conventions

1. Place one of the 1/2 inch thick by 4 inches long by 3.5 inches wide pieces of wood onto a flat surface. 2. Place the other two 1/2 inch thick by 4 inches long by 3.5 inches wide pieces of wood horizontally along each long side of the first piece. 3. Nail the pieces of wood into place. 4. Place one of the 1/2 inch thick by 3.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide pieces of wood onto one of the ends of the mold. 5. Hold the wood onto the end, and drill two times into the wood on either side where it connects to the soap mold. 6.Screw two screws into the drilled holes, starting from the inside and screwing the screws in so the ends of the screws stick out. 7.Place a washer onto each of the open ends of the screws. 8.Screw two wingnuts on top of the washers. 9.Repeat this process with the opposite end of the soap mold. This will allow the ends of the mold to be completely removed to remove the soap inside.

1.3 Reading Suggestions

Generally, you can use just about any type of plastic, wood, or cardboard as a soap mould. Do not use tin, aluminum, Teflon, or copper as they react with the lye. Candy and candle moulds may work well, too. If you want something simple, choose a square or rectangular container and cut the bars to size after your soap has set. Cardboard milk or juice containers work well as they are coated with wax. To make round soaps try recycling a plastic bottle. Using an empty, clean, plastic pop or round shampoo bottle, carefully slice the sides of the bottle lengthwise. Tape sides using plastic packing tape to prevent leakage. Pour the soap mixture and let set for required amount of time. Peel tape back and release your soap, then cut the bars to a desired size. Set to cure as usual. If you are having trouble getting your soap to release from the mould, try placing it in the freezer for two hours. This will cause the soap mixture to shrink from the sides and make removal easier.

To help with release, use vegetable shortening to grease your moulds. Cardboard or wooden moulds require a combination of waxed paper or freezer paper and vegetable shortening.

1.4 Project Scope

y

Flexibility greatly improves the release of your cured soap from the mold cavity.

Since soaps are easier to get out of the molds, more detail and smaller detail, which may have crumbled before, is now not only possible, but easy.

With gentle flexible soap molds, your fingers are spared the rawness and pain cause by pushing repeatedly against hard inflexible plastic.

2. Overall Description
2.1 Product Perspective
Several years ago I loved making soap for gifts. This last holiday season, I decided to share my secret with my group of friends and teach them how to make soap for loved ones. All supplies can be found at Michaels or another craft store. The main things you will need are: glycerin soap brick soap molds y soap scent y soap dye (or watercolors) y a microwave y a stirring utinsel (I like using a wooden skewer I can just throw away) y Microwave safe bowl y sharp knife and cutting board y plastic wrap First slice the soap into cubes cutting along score lines. It depends on how many soaps you want to make with the same scent and color. If you are making a lot, use lots of soap, if you are just making one only use about three depending on the size of the mold. It's all about experimenting.

2.2 Assumptions
Soap molds and cutters can make homemade soaps more artistic and appealing. There are a lot of commercial soap molds that you can buy or you can make your own soap molds. When looking for the right soap molds you must know first the type of soap making procedure you are going to employ. If you are planning to use the heat soap making procedure or lye soap making procedure, make sure that the molder that you will use is heat and lye resistant. When planning to use either of the procedures mentioned above, the best advice is use Pyrex glass molder. Glass or ceramic molds cant stand the highlevel of heat so it is better not to use those. If you chose to use glass or ceramic molders, these molders may not last for a long time, thus you will end up spending a lot. On the other hand, the best choice for cold soap-making process is to use wooden and plastic soap molds because these two are more flexible compared to glass and ceramic. It is very easy to unmold handmade soap without damaging it if you will use wooden or plastic molders.

Specification of each Component

PARTS OF SOAP CASE MOULD:1.TOP PLATE: It is the plate which is present on the top of the mould. It holds register ring, guide pillar, screws etc. 2.BOTTOM PLATE: It is present at the bottom of the mould & it incorporate tubular dowel, ejector rod, screws etc. 3.CORE PLATE: The basic mould consist of this plate which form the inner shape of the component. 4. CAVITY PLATE: The basic mould consist of this plate which forms the outer shape of component. It is basically below the core plate. 6.GUIDE PILLAR & GUIDE BUSH: To mould an even walled article it is necessary to ensure that cavity & core kept in alignment. 7.RISERS & SPACERS: They are provided to space in between core plate & to provide movement to the ejector assembly. 8.TUBULAR DOWEL: It is use to hold the core back plate ,spacer & bottom plate.

3.3 Material of the Component used

Material of soap case mould should be of mainly plastic, silicon. but their press tool is of cast iron.

3.4 Basic Principle of Working of Component

Injection molding is a manufacturing process for producing parts from both thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic materials. Material is fed into a heated barrel, mixed, and forced into a mold cavity where it cools and hardens to the configuration of the mold cavity.[1] After a product is designed, usually by an industrial designer or an engineer, molds are made by a moldmaker (or toolmaker) from metal, usually either steel or aluminum.they mainly used for making plastic mould like soap mould .
