III. AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORMS The application forms are available at the following places: 1. State Bank of Hyderabad, Gulbarga University, Jnana Ganga Campus, Gulbarga. 2. The candidate desirous of obtaining the application forms through post should send the cost of application form with the additional postage charge of Rs.60/- through DD drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga, to the Deputy Registrar (Academic Branch), Gulbarga University, Gulbarga - 585 106. The application form can also be downloaded from the University Website www.gulbargauniversity.kar.nic.in. The filled in application form along with DD towards the cost of application form, drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga should be submitted to the concerned Chairpersons/Special Officers/Principals of Colleges as indicated above. The details of DD should be entered in the application form.

COST OF APPLICATION FORM The cost of each application form is Rs. 350.00 (Rupees Three Hundred Fifty only) The cost of each application form for SC/ST and Category-I is Rs. 175.00 (Rupees One Hundred and Seventy Five only) SC/ST & Category-I candidates have to produce the copy of proof of their category for obtaining the admission application form. Students have to submit the duly filled in application forms along with all the necessary documents and application fee receipt/DD on or before the last date fixed to the respective authorities only, as indicated above. Applications can be submitted either in person or by Speed Post or Registered Post ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS 1. For Eligibility to a PG course, please refer Prospectus or may contact respective Chairperson or Special Officer of PG Centres. 2. Students who have appeared for Final Year Degree Examination of recognized University and awaiting for results, may also apply, provided they ensure submission of marks card on or before last date fixed. 3. The students studying in affiliated colleges of Gulbarga University shall give their correct Register numbers and attested copies of the marks cards. If marks cards are not issued on time, despite the announcement of results, the University may retrieve their details of marks to prepare the list of eligible candidates in the order of merit. However, the students shall bring their attested copies and original marks cards and documents at the time of admission. 4. The certificates for reservation category issued by the competent authority be enclosed and original certificate be produced at the time of admission. 5. The students of Karnataka State Women's University are treated on par with Gulbarga University students.

VII. IMPORTANT INFORMATION 1. The admission to the PG courses is based on merit cum reservation as per intake fixed by the University. 2. For the eligibility criteria and other details for admission to the above courses, candidates may contact the Chairpersons of concerned PG Departments, Special Officers of P.G Center, Principals of concerned Government Colleges or refer Prospectus. 3. Candidates who desire to apply for more than one course shall have to submit separate application form for each course. 4. Candidate who desire to apply for the same course at main campus and also at PG centres, shall have to submit separate application form for each centre. 5. Candidates seeking admission under Self Supporting Scheme, shall give the undertaking in the application form, without fail. 6. Candidates are advised to read the instructions in the Prospectus before filling the application.

7. Incomplete applications are liable for rejection. 8. The application form is provided in the prospectus itself. 9. For any clarification, candidates may browse the University Web notifications issued from time to time or may contact respective Chairpersons of concerned PG Departments/ Special Officer of the P.G Centres. 10. If the applications received are less than ten in any course, the University decision is final in offering such course. VIII. ADMISSION COUNSELING PROCESS 1. The merit list of all eligible candidates and the provisional list of selected candidates (Course wise, Campus wise) will be announced on Notice Board of respective P.G. Departments and University website on a specified date as per schedule of the Counseling. Rest of the selected candidates will be called for counseling as per the Counseling Calling List. 2. All the eligible applicants are entitled and expected to attend admission counseling session as per the schedule given at specified venues. The selected candidates as per the provisional list announced or as per the counseling schedule can take admission by producing original documents and paying the prescribed fee as per the University rules. 3. Candidates who have applied for more than one course or Centres, even if they have taken admission in the provisional list or as per the counseling schedule, may surrender that seat, if later in the process of counseling they select any other course or centre of their choice. The candidate has to get the endorsement of the concerned Department and fee receipt (Bank challan) for surrendering of seat, within the stipulated time schedule. 4. Events for Physical Fitness Test to the candidates of B.P. Ed. course are as follows. For Boys 100 Mtr., 800 Mtr., Long Jump, High Jump and Shot Put For Girls - 100 Mtr., 200 Mtr., Long Jump, High Jump and Shot Put Candidates must attend Physical Fitness Test in the Sports Uniform IX. ADMISSION COUNSELING PLACES 1. The admission counseling process will be held at following places: a. Gulbarga University, Jnana Ganga Campus, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga: For all courses offered by P.G. Departments of main campus and for P.G. Courses offered by private affiliated colleges (University quota). b. P.G Centre, Jnana Karanji Campus, Halahalli, Bidar and P.G. Centre, Jnana Tunga Campus, Yergera, Raichur : For the concerned courses in the respective P.G. Centres. However, the admissions Under Self Supporting Scheme for both P.G. Centres will be held on Main Campus, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. c. In case of students seeking admission to Government Degree Colleges, the selection and admission to the P.G. Courses offered in the said Government colleges, will be done at the respective Government. Degree colleges as per the approved merit list and in the presence of observers nominated by the University.
