Barramundi is widely known as great source for a well balance omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids. While the Omega 6 is important for maintaining strong and healthy bones, Omega 3 is highly crucial in reducing the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

Like most fish, Barramundi is recognised as one of the best alternative protein source for its low saturated fat compared to other animal or red meat sourced protein.
That is why The American Heart Association recommends eating fish at least 2 times a week.

The indoor farming systems is considered amongst the most sustainable production systems because they minimize environmental impacts including fish escape, disease transfer and pollution. Our indoor farm, known as FP Controlled Aquaculture System, is a time tested Australian proprietary technology that complied with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standard.

Our Barramundi are grown in an indoor farming facility that allows the Barramundi to be cared and grown organically in an environment to be similar to their natural habitat and as such prohibits the use of antibiotics. Our product is tested free of heavy metal contaminant which can be harmful for human consumption. (Below the European Union maximum permitted part per million level).

To ensure high quality product standard, our Barramundi will undergo salt water post harvest conditioning and chilled drown in minus 5 Celsius temperature before being delivered to our customers. Our processed gutted and gilled Barramundi is frozen using IQF Method Processing, a quick frozen method widely used in the processing industry to maintain product freshness.
