Business is Booming! Most people are shocked to learn that during this
downturn in the economy that parks, recreation, senior services and public
transit are experiencing higher demands on their services. Over the past year
we have seen growth in park use and demands on facilities; as well as increased

attendance in recreation programs, ridership of the DART public transportation
system and an increase in requests for Meals on Wheels, Homemaker Services Valley Lake

the facility.
Paid Daily Walk - In Guests and Pass holders are entitled to use of the gymnasium, weight room, jogging track and gym restrooms. Use of
the gym, weight room, jogging track and rock wall is only available during normal hours of operation and when the designated areas are not
being utilized for scheduled Department programs or reserved activities and events.
Annual Pass may be paid in full or by an Auto-Debit system. With the Auto-Debit system, the first quarter installment is paid at the facility
when the pass is purchased, with the remaining balance automatically deducted from a checking account for the next consecutive 3 months.
A $1.50 charge will be added to each installment for annual pass holders utilizing the auto-debit system.
All pass holders are required to carry the Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department Photo Identification Card as the facility operates
on a bar code system. There is no charge for the first card provided.
