Samsung India is the hub for Samsungs South West Asia Regional operations. The South West Asia Regional Headquarters looks after the Samsung business in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives and Bhutan besides India. Samsung India which commenced its operations in India in December 1995, today enjoys a sales turnover of over US$ 1Bn in just a decade of operations in the country. Headquartered in New Delhi, Samsung India has a network of 19 Branch Offices located all over the country. The Samsung manufacturing complex housing manufacturing facilities for Colour Televisions, Colour Monitors, Refrigerators and Washing Machines is located at Noida, near Delhi. Samsung Made in India products like Colour Televisions, Colour Monitors and Refrigerators are being exported to Middle East, CIS and SAARC countries from its Noida manufacturing complex. Samsung India currently employs over 1600 employees, with around 18% of its employees working in Research & Development.

Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd., a subsidiary of Hitachi Home & Life Solutions, Inc., Japan, was first established in 1984. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company's manufacturing facility at Kadi is among the seven Hitachi room air conditioner facilities worldwide. The Indian plant also exports Hitachi room air conditioners to the SAARC, Middle East and other tropical countries in addition to catering to the Indian market. With a total installed capacity of 250,000 units a year and turnover of over Rs. 2800 million, Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) is amongst the top airconditioning companies in India. It has a nationwide sales, distribution and service network. It has 14 Branches, 250 Sales and Service Dealers, more than 800 Showroom Dealers and 350 Service Points.

Blue Star Limited, originally known as Blue Star Engineering (Bombay) Pvt Ltd was founded by Mohan T. Advani in 1943. The Company was initially engaged in reconditioning of refrigerators and air-conditioners. Today, Blue Star is India's largest central airconditioning company with an annual turnover of Rs. 476 crores, a network of offices in 29 cities and three modern manufacturing facilities. Blue Star became a public limited company in 1969 with its corporate headquarters at Kasturi Buildings in Mumbai. Blue Star manufactures and markets a wide range of airconditioning and refrigeration, systems and products. These include large central airconditioning plants, packaged airconditioning systems, split and window airconditioners; commercial refrigeration equipment such as water coolers, mineral water dispensers, ice-cube machines, deep freezers, walk-in cold rooms and commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. Blue Star's other businesses include marketing and maintenance of hi-tech electronic and industrial products such as Testing Machines, Data Communication products, Medical and Analytical Instruments and Special Control Valves. The Company has business alliances with world renowned technology leaders such as York International, USA; Hitachi, Japan; Kolpak, USA; Vestfrost, Denmark; Electrolux, Sweden and many others, so as to offer superior products to the customers.
