Banana Almond Cake

Ingredients

White butter kilo Brown sugar cup Sugar cup Mashed banana 6 Finely chopped almonds 1 cup Maida 200 grams Baking soda 2 teaspoons Hot milk cup Cooking soda 1 teaspoon Banana and almond essence 1 teaspoon each

Method 1. Beat butter, sugar, and sieved flours (Maida, baking soda and cooking soda well) in a bowl. 2. Then add the beaten eggs and the essences and stir them well. 3. Add milk to it and continue stirring. 4. Then pour it in the baking plate for 30 to 40 minutes in 180 deg C.

Chocolate cake

Ingredients

Maida 250 grams Condensed milk 1 tin

White butter 100 grams Castor sugar 60 grams Baking soda 2 teaspoon Chocolate essence 2 teaspoons Cooking soda 1 teaspoon Chocolate colour little Warm milk 2 cups

How to make / Method 1. Sieve Maida, baking soda, cooking soda and chocolate colour together 2. Beat butter, castor sugar, and condensed milk in another well to get like foam or to get like a creamy mixture 3. Then add the sieved one to the above creamy mixture little by little and add the essence and little warm milk and keep stirring 4. Then Pour the cake mixture in a baking plate and bake it in 180 degrees C. Tip: The main point to be kept in mind is, while stirring the cake mixture, stir only in the same direction. Do not often change the direction of stirring as it has a tendency to lose its softness and fluffiness.

Chocolate Cake

Ingredients Maida- kilo Condensed milk 1 tin Eggs -4 Butter 100 grams Castor sugar 60 grams Baking soda 2 teaspoon Chocolate essence 2 teaspoons Cooking soda 1 teaspoon

Hot milk 2 cups Chocolate color little Method 1. Sieve Maida, baking soda and cooking soda together. 2. Mix butter, sugar, milk in a bowl and beat it well. 3. Then add the sieved flour in small quantities and stir them well to get a good softy cake mixture. 4. Pour it in the baking plate and bake it in about 180 deg.C for about 30 minutes (approximately) 5. Serve with tea or snacks

Chocolate 'n Orange Angel Cake

Ingredients

Maida (All purpose flour) 50 grams Castor sugar 50 Grams Egg (without the yellow) 5 Cocoa Powder 6 teaspoons Baking soda 1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar teaspoon Corn-flour teaspoon

Method / How to make 1. Beat the eggs well, add sieved Maida, sieved corn-flour, and sieved baking soda to it little by little and mix well. 2. Powder or make it into a coarse powder and add it to the above mixture. Stir well to get a creamy cake mixture. 3. Pour it in the molded tray and bake it for 30 minutes.

Note: Cream of tartar is best known in our kitchens for helping stabilize and give more volume to beaten egg whites. It is the acidic ingredient in some brands of baking powder..

Christmas Plum Cake

Recipe Description: Plum Cake is famous during the festival of Christmas; it looks simple but tastes delicious. It also has lesser fat content as it doesn't have any cream in it. Ingredients Maida 200 grams Castor sugar 200 grams Margarine 200 grams Butter 200 grams Cashews 100 grams Almonds 100 grams Dry grapes or raisins 50 grams Cherries 50 grams Orange peel 50 grams Ginger(soaked in sugar syrup) 50 grams Cake Masala 2 teaspoons (available in bakeries and grocery shops) Shajeera 2 teaspoons

Baking soda 2 teaspoon Eggs 6 Caramel syrup 1 cup Powdered nutmeg a pinch Method 1. Beat the eggs well. 2. Beat the butter and sugar well separately. 3. Mix the dry fruits(finely chopped), sieved maida and sieved cooking soda and baking soda in a bowl well. 4. Add the shajeera, cake Masala, to the butter mixture. 5. Add the caramel syrup, beaten eggs, and beat it well to get a foamy mixture. 6. Add the above mixture to the maida mixture and stir them well to get a soft, cake mixture. 7. Pour it in the greased baking plate and bake it for 20 minutes approximately in 160 deg.C and for 10 minutes in 180 deg C.

Fig Cake

Ingredients Maida 200 grams Butter 200 grams Fig fruit 200 grams Eggs 5 (yellow and white separated) Sugar 160 grams Scraped orange peel 1 teaspoon Ice-cream essence 2 teaspoons

Salt a pinch Method 1. Beat the yellow part (egg yolk) and sugar well. 2. Beat the butter and essence well. 3. Chop the fig fruit into fine pieces and put it in the hot water and soak them for a while. Once it is cooked or has become soft, remove it from the water by squeezing them to remove its extra moisture from it and keep aside. 4. Add the egg-yolk mixture, sieved maida, baking soda, cooking soda into it and add the scraped orange peel and beaten egg-white and stir them well. 5. Then pour it in the baking plate for 30 to 40 minutes in 180 deg C.

Japanese Cake

Ingredients

Eggs (without the yellow) 2 Castor sugar 100 grams Powdered cashews 100 grams Powdered sugar 100 grams Cherries for decoration

Method / How to make 1. 2. 3. 4. Beat the eggs well and add the powdered sugar and powdered cashews. Pour it in the greased baking plate and Bake in 180 deg.C Remove it in the mid once it is cooked. Turn the other side like a dosa and bake it again for few more minutes.

Marble Cake

Maida kilograms Condensed milk 1 tin White butter 100 grams Castor sugar 60 grams Baking soda 2 teaspoons Cooking soda 1 teaspoon Hot milk 2 cups Green, yellow, red colours little Pineapple, lemon, raspberry essence little

Method / How to make 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Sieve Maida along with soda ingredients. Beat condensed milk, butter, sugar well to get a creamy mixture. Add milk to it and mix well. Divide this mixture into three parts. Mix to each part a different Colour (green, yellow and red) and add essence to it. Then pour it in the baking plate one by one and bake it in 180 deg.C. Decorate with the chocolate icing and is ready to have a bite ;-).

Pineapple Upside down Cake

Ingredients

Condensed milk 1 tin White butter 120 grams Maida 250 gms Castor sugar 60 grams Baking soda 2 teaspoons Pineapple essence 2 teaspoons Cooking soda 1 teaspoon Yellow colour a pinch Hot milk 2 cups Pineapple slices 6

Method / How to make 1. Beat milk, butter, sugar well in a bowl and then add the essence, keep beating them until you get bubbles from it. 2. Then add sieved soda ingredients and sieved Maida and the milk, yellow Colour, and mix it with your finger-tip. 3. In the greased baking plate, place the pineapple slices and then pour the cake mixture into it and bake it in 150 deg.C. 4. Once it is completely baked and cooled, loosen the sides and invert or make it upside down. 5. Decorate with cherries or decorate with whipped cream. Tip: You can use strawberry slices or pieces instead of pineapple pieces and so called as strawberry upside-down cake.

Jam Swiss Roll

Ingredients

Maida 200 Grams Castor sugar 200 Grams Eggs 6 Hot milk 2 cups Baking soda 2 teaspoons Pineapple essence little Jam as per your taste

Method

1. Boil water in a heavy bottomed pan. 2. Beat the eggs and add the essence to it and keep this in a vessel inside the heavy bottomed pan (boiling water) (Not to add this mixture into the water). 3. Make sure that the water which you kept for boiling should not get into the vessel, only the vapour has to come.(the egg mixture has to be heated only through the vapours) 4. The consistency should be in the form of semi-solid (to check this, insert a spoon into the egg mixture and make sure that it is well cooked, or it doesn't fall as soon as you remove the spoon from it)(one of the example would be something like a jelly). 5. Then add maida, sugar, ingredients, and milk to this egg mixture and keep stirring properly the same side which you started to stir. 6. Don't often the change the direction of stirring. 7. Pour it in the butter paper kept in the baking plate and bake it in 180 deg.C for 25 to 20 minutes. 8. Once baked, invert it and spread the jam over it and slightly roll it and cut into pieces.

Vanilla Sponge Cake


Ingredients

Maida- 250 grams White butter 100 grams Condensed milk 1 tin Castor sugar 60 grams Hot milk 2 cups Baking soda 2 teaspoon Vanilla essence 2 teaspoon Cooking soda 1 teaspoon

Method / How to make 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Sieve Maida, baking soda, cooking soda altogether. Beat butter, castor sugar, condensed milk, well to make it a creamy mixture. Then keep adding sieved flour little by little and keep stirring. Add milk to it and stir to get a cake mixture. The mixture consistency should be like a dosa batter. Then pour it in the baking plate and bake it in 180 deg.C.
