th

Improving Spinning Process for Viscose Yarn Manufacturing.

Background:
The Bangladesh textile industry, the largest manufacturing subsector of the industrial sector, provides employment to about 5.5 million people (including over 3 million in RMG units, of which 80 percent are women), contributes around 13 percent of the countrys GDP, 40 percent of manufacturing value addition, and 77 percent of export earnings. Spinning sub-sector is one of the biggest sector in Bangladeshi textile industries. Present our capacity of spinning are 7,600,000 spindles in respect 350 mills. Raw cotton consumption in MY 2010/11 is estimated to reach 3.9 million bales (849,000 tons). Also polyester staple fiber and viscose fiber consumption in MY 2010/11 are estimated to reach 25,000 tons and 5,000 tons. Viscose fiber consumption increase day to day in our country to increasing demand from the spinning sub-sector backed by steady growth in domestic market and strong growth in export demand for viscose textile for RMG sector.

Statement of The Problem:

Most of the Bangladeshi spinning mills produced 100 percent cotton yarn. Very few of spinners produce value added yarn as like as blended yarn, viscose yarn, polyester spun yarn and others. The main reason of this matter is the lack of technical data and previous experience. Also viscose yarn processing is different then traditional cotton yarn processing. Its need lot of changes fro blowroom to finishing section. Now a day we face huge global competition in spinning sector for the purpose of increasing raw material prices. For survive this competition we need to diversify our product. In the respect customer behavior also changes. Customer wants to spend more money for special product. Above this reason, I hope my research proposal is very suitable and very essential for the present situation of our spinning sub-sector.

Objective:
To know about the proper setting for viscose yarn processing (Blowroom to Finishing). To asses the different spinning factors in viscose yarn quality. To asses the production efficiency for viscose yarn processing. To elaborate a competitive strategy for viscose yarn manufacturing.

Methodology:
First of all we will set different setting from blowroom to finishing section. Then we will set different spinning factor which effect yarn quality as like as RH, TM, RPM of the machines and other. After set each variables, we will produce 30/1, Ne 100% Viscose Yarn for every change of variables. Then we will check this sample in laborite by using different testing instrument and we will record this data. Last of all we will make a Hypothesis by the help of collecting data. We will calculate this hypothesis by the help of linear regression and will eliminate thus variables which are not effective.

Tools:
For data analysis we use T-Test which is a one of statistical tool. Also we use following yarn processing and testing machineries which are provides CRC textile Mills Ltd. CRC Textile Mills is a one of the biggest viscose yarn manufacturing unit in Bangladesh. Required Machineries: Blowroom Line. (Trutzschler) Carding. (Trutzschler Card TC-03) Drawing. (RSB D-40) Simplex. (FL-100) Ring Frame (Chines) Autoconer (Murata 21 C)
