Dear SDA friends around the world,
Read the boxes in this letter, then come back here and we’ll talk about what’s happening.
What you’re about to read may shock you, but I know that the great heart of our kind Father and our lovely Jesus goes out
in tender compassion, pity, and sympathy for those who have been suffering in the wicked cities that Satan has attacked with
bombs, fires, floods, looting, murders, and a horrible hurricane in recent weeks. Many dear SDA people and pastors were in
those cities. Many others have loved ones there. The tender heart of God is touched with the feeling of their sorrow. He
hears their prayers, and He is working to save them from Satan’s insane wrath with His infinite power, unending love, and
unlimited wisdom.
Faith: What’s the meaning of what’s been happening in the past few weeks? What part in these things has been played by
God, by the devil, and by man? Why did God allow these terrible things, and all that has happened since the hurricane?
Why?
Pastor Jan: Do you really want to know the why? Wouldn’t you rather be ignorant like a tiny, innocent baby?
Hope: Someone might want to be ignorant, but not me.
Pastor Jan: Watch closely -
1) In exhibit #3, we see a lady as she views what used to be part of New Orleans. Her
expression represents the feeling of billions in the near future - as they receive the
rewards of their service to the master they’ve chosen. We’ve been praying for them - that
our dear Saviour who died on the cross of Calvary will help them - as they hopefully turn
to Him with all their hearts and all their souls.
2) Navy ships carried food and emergency supplies to the area. Coast Guard
helicopters pulled stranded residents from rooftops in New Orleans - while some in that
very city shot bullets at the helicopters.

4) AP news reported that the famous singer Fats Domino disappeared in the hurricane from his balcony and hasn’t been
found. It said that he sold more than 110 million records. The title of one of them was called “Ain’t That a Shame.”

the Sept. 1 issue of World Net Daily.
6) I don’t have space here, but sometime, I’ll have to show you about HAARP. I have a video on it. That’s the massive

Gunfire Disrupts Evacuation, Corpses

“Thousands of National Guard troops in armored vehicles moved into flood-ravaged New Orleans today amid
mounting lawlessness marked by gunfire, trash fires and rising tensions among desperate refugees low on food and water.
At least seven corpses were scattered outside the New Orleans Convention Center where displaced residents broke
through the steel doors of a food service entrance. Chaos reigned at the nearby Superdome [which was turned into a
concentration camp] where about 25,000 people awaited evacuation by bus to [a larger concentration camp] the Houston
Astrodome some 350 miles away. [It was reported that the death toll in New Orleans and surrounding areas is moving
toward 10,000, making it the worst natural disaster in the nation’s history.]
“Tense, angry crowds stood shoulder-to-shoulder on the Superdome’s main concourse behind barricades manned by
National Guardsmen. When buses finally arrived, fights erupted as many jostled for position. FEMA rescuers suspended
operations in some areas where gunfire broke out, including attacks on the rescue helicopters that have brought thousands
to safety. Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Cheri Ben-Iesan said that at every hospital there are reports of helicopters being fired on
as they come to evacuate patients. There are people just taking potshots at police and at helicopters, telling them, ‘You
better come get my family,’ Ben-Iesan said, according to the Associated Press.
“‘We were told not to drink or eat in public as it could lead to a mob situation,’ NBC's Michelle Hofland said. ‘We
were told that by sundown to get out of here.’
“President Bush, who will tour the region tomorrow, said another 10,000 National Guardsman from across the country
are being deployed. New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin ordered the city of nearly 500,000 to be evacuated over the weekend
as Katrina approached. Since then, he has called for everyone who remained to leave because the city has become
uninhabitable.”
Now, the police have said that they are not letting the public into New
Orleans. The police spokesman said that the area will be filled with federal
officials, police, and the national guard. The city is a total police state under
martial law. They are asking everyone to leave - even those who are still in their
homes. The police spokesman said that the city has been totally destroyed.
