Objectives: 1. To share best practices and knowledge on cooperation projects with Africa 2. To develop methods and tools (regarding Non Formal Learning) to work in cooperation with African organisations 3. To set common standards and goals concerning projects with Africa 4. To get acquainted with Africa Europe Youth Cooperation framework 5. To build a common strategy to network in the future.

Programme Elements The main content of this seminar is the good practices of participants once that everyone that will attend is already working with Africa, through Actions 2 and 3.2. Having this in consideration, there will be the opportunity to share participants background in cooperating with Africa, their role, the organisations they are representing and their projects. We aim to create a space to share and learn together from participants experiences, at the same time that we want to promote a critical view towards our cooperation work. During our working days well have the chance to reflect about our perceptions of Africa, what is cooperation and about Non Formal Learning in an African context. This seminar will also give us the chance to frame Africa Europe Youth Cooperation from a political and institutional point of view and to identify quality standards for Actions 2 and 3.2 (with a focus on Africa). It is expected to have guests for some sessions and to have a field visit to youth organisations developing an interesting work related with our topic. We hope that by the end of this seminar were able to have a common ground towards a strategy for Africa Europe Youth Cooperation and to network in the future.

The Team for this seminar will be composed of 2 independent trainers, one Portuguese, Andreia
Henriques, one French, Clara Carbunar, Joao Vilaa, communication officer, Branca Pimenta, training and cooperation officer of the Portuguese Agency, Gilles Baccala, training and cooperation officer of the French Agency.
