Free School Fair Thank you C3 Church

Many of you will remember the school fair that the C3 Church put on for Bailey Road School in 2010. Well they are back again this year promising to provide us with more treats and free stuff.

RUGBY WORLD CUP Fundraising

There are only 15 days to the opening of the 2011 Rugby World Cup on 9th Sept.
Last Friday afternoon we kicked off the celebrations at our school with a mufti day and a number of games. Students were allowed to wear Mufti and we held a sausage sizzle. Thank you everyone for your support, especially our teacher aides and parents who ensured that the sausages were barbequed to perfection. The School raised $1050 from the event and this money will go into pot that helps run the school. Many of you will remember that last year we held a Soccer World Cup-a-thon to raise money for the school. We would like to do the same thing this year.

How will the Rugby World Cup-a-thon work?

Students will be given a study sheet to learn from. They will then be encouraged to collect sponsorships, people can either make a donation or sponsor a certain amount for each correct answer. They will write a test to find out how much they remembered. Sponsorship money will be collected and brought back to School. Please support us to bring in much needed funds, the money raised will help cover last years data cabling project that cost the school $70,000. Prizes: KFC Family meal for the two families that bring in the most money. Pizza lunch to the class that brings in the most money.
