The Tausug [Bangsa Sug or Bangsa Sulu] has three groups based upon their residing places in Sulu Archipelago [Zamboanga, Sulu, Basilan, Tawi-Tawi and Sabah]; the Tau ha Higad, the Tau ha Gimba and the Tau ha Pu. First, The Tau ha Higad [urban people], people inhabited the city or town. Second, the Tau ha Gimba [highlanders], people who dwell the hinterlands of Sulu, the farmers. Are the Suluans ever ready to have such declaration? The idea is great, but its implementation is going to be tideous and in fact a threat to the national security of the GRP. But legally, historically and geographically, the Suluans have no reasons why cant they declare Sulu Independence as enshrine under the Charter/Declaration of United Nation.
