Food ADULTERATION

INTRODUCTION
Food is essential for life it should be pure, nutrious and free from any type of adulteration for proper maintenance of human health. Despite of improvement in production, processing and packaging, more poisons seem to be entering our food chain. Every consumer wants to get maximum quantity of a commodity for as low price as possible. This attitude of the consumer being coupled with intention of the traders to increase the margin of profit, where the quantity of the commodity gets reduced through addition of a baser substance or removal of vital elements also commodity known as FOOD ADULTERATION. Do you know our food is turning into a slow poison? For e.g.:- From fruits to vegetables ,milk to cold drinks, ghee to edible oils, wheat atta to common dal, spices to sweets. Chances are everything we are consuming to our health.
