Conclusions
Participation in CERN projects significantly facilitated the integration of the Czech basic research in particle physics in the international research structures in the field. The Czech team significantly contributed to the design and construction of important ATLAS sub-detectors , some key components have been delivered by the Czech industry. ATLAS has been successfully launched and started to deliver data. Expertise acquired in more than decade of ATLAS detector construction can be used in ELI experiments instrumentation.
