1. Terms of Contract 1. The Employees date of commencement of service will be on However, the actual date of commencement will be the day on which he / she starts working at the work place. The contract will be in force for a period of two years (hereinafter referred to as Initial Contract Term) will commence on the actual date of commencement of service the employee starts working at the work place. 3. The employee shall be given a job description which will primarily set out the employees duties, authorities, and responsibilities in detail. 2. The employee agrees to perform other such works and duties as may be assigned to him /her from time to time. 3. Salary & Wages 1. The employee shall be paid a monthly consolidated salary of ~ ./-(Rupees .. ..only) per month. 2. The employee will not be paid whenever he/she is absent from work without prior permission. 3. Monthly consolidated salary for the period the employee worked will be deposited to employees bank account by the first week of the following month. 4. Monthly consolidated salary may be reviewed on annual basis subject to performance appraisal and standard set by the company. 4. Place of work The Employees Place of work is at Global Institute of Management Studies, Thiruvananthapuram and any other branch or franchisee of the employer organisation. 5. Termination of agreement 1. If either party wish to terminate this agreement within the probation period, may do so by giving one weeks notice in writing or one weeks salary in lieu of notice in which case the party who serve the notice to terminate the contract will have to bear the costs of: a. b. 2. In the case of clause 1, the employee shall receive his/her salary until the last working day if the notice period stipulation is followed. 3. If either party wish to terminate this agreement after the period of probation but before completion of the initial terms will have to serve thirty (30) days notice in writing or refund / pay the salary in lieu of the notice and bear the recruitment cost, if any. 4. If the employee tenders resignation after completion of 12 months of Initial Contract Term, the employer may terminate this agreement without prior notice for any one of the following reasons: a. The Employee is unable to perform competently the work attached to his/her contract. b. Employees acts of negligence or lack of due diligence in performing his duties to the reasonable standard.

3 c. The Employee violates the rules and regulations in force to protect the organization in which he is working, its customer or relevant government authorities. d. The employee is absent without permission for forty eight hours without the permission of the employer. e. The employee is in breach of this agreement in part or full. 6. Non-disclosure of Information The employee agrees that he/she shall not, at any time during the term of this agreement or thereafter disclosure to any third person to this agreement, any information related to the affairs of the employer or employment or any of the matters relating to its customers other than to those authorized by the employer to receive such information. 7. Training a) In order to support providing a safer workplace, the employee agrees to attend a training course provided by the employer and attend regular classes conducted at the office, as and when being summoned. b) Supervisory staff may also be called upon to attend first aid training. 8. Declaration The employee hereby declares that he/she has carefully read this agreement, that he/she fully understands its terms and conditions that are in full agreement with the employee and that any violation of the conditions of the agreement on the part of the employee will result in the termination of the agreement without notice and the employee will not be entitled to any payment or compensation on this account. This agreement may be varied only in writing of another agreement and duly signed by both the employee and the employer.
