Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. - 2 Timothy 2:3

What is CI?
Christmas Institute (CI) is an annual gathering of the young people of North Central and South Eastern Jurisdictions. In our aspiration to fulfill our goal: To know Christ and make Him Known, we come together in solidarity in CI. For many years, CI has played a meaningful part in our lives as the young people of NCJ and SEJ. It caters to our spiritual, emotional and social needs. It is a venue for developing our leadership skills, harnessing our character, and strengthening our faith and commitment in serving God and our neighbors. Many of us young people have stood up and exemplified their leadership through this event, and even more have committed their lives to community service. On December 26-30, 2011, approximately 150 young people will come and join hands in this Christmas Institute to rekindle fellowship and affirm their roles in our church and society.

The Theme
In a world full of violence, disorder and pain, we aspire to ignite the flame of faith in God in our hearts and become a beacon of light in the world. We recognize that we as Christians face spiritual struggles, and we must prepare ourselves and be bold to fight and answer our call of duty from God. In one voice and prayer, we aspire through CI to: - to empower ourselves with fath and the Spirit to confront the Christian struggles we face as modern disciples of Christ ; - affirm roles as young leaders in the transformation of the church and the society; - develop servant-leadership among the young people; and - provide a venue of fellowship among the NCJ and SEJ youth in celebrating the life and ministry of the church.

For the first time in the NCJ-SEJ CI history, we are holding the event for FIVE days. Throughout the camp, we will seek to nurture our spiritual relationship with God and enjoy the company of our friends in our community of faith. This year, CI consists of: * Worship Experiences * Interactive and Creative Lectures * Bible Studies * Interest Groups * Small Groups (according to age) * Fun, games and more! Join us! Together, let us answer the call of duty!
